The parents need to seek out resources to get the support they need to keep their child safe and healthy. If they can’t manage this, child welfare should get involved to help connect the family with services to help this child with her condition. She’s being allowed to eat too much. The parents must be overwhelmed, but that’s what our social services programs are for.
I only heard of this once if I remember correctly, on an episode of CSI where they found a dead guy in a dumpster, it turned out he had a condition where his brain would never receive the signals from his stomach telling him he was full, so he always felt like he was starving, he died because the dumpster from in the back of a restaurant, he had just finished a hotdog eating competition, and because of his condition was eating the leftovers in the dumpster, he literally ate himself to death. The other instance that I heard of that might have been this was Terrare, the french man with a bottomless stomach.
When someone is starving they become irrational. That's why you see people starving resorting to cannibalism, stealing neighbors kids to butcher and eat. Now think od a child's mental level and trying to tell them they don't need to eat when their brain is telling them they are starving. Add to that the eating disorders which develope when denied food
This is one of those situations where you just feel bad for the child. It’s entirely out of her control and her parents aren’t doing as much as they should to ensure she isn’t overeating and making sure she doesn’t gain weight too quickly. Hopefully something resolves soon because if not that girl is going to suffer a short and painful life that she doesn’t deserve to experience

This girl is affected with this syndrome. But people should be cautious I can already see so many parents thinking that this syndrome is causing weight gain in their children, and can also see some bad doctors looking to benefit from misdiagnosing kids with this syndrome. Usually this syndrome also comes with some intellectual disabilities. My mums a paediatrician and she's seen so many parents who just give into every whim of their child and then make excuses "she doesn't eat anything else, she just keeps eating instant ramen or chips or coke", as if the kids gotten themselves a job and goes to buy chips and coke with the money they earned. A parent is a parent not a friend, learn to be firm with your kids, don't accept their bad behaviour and don't give into their tantrums, it's your responsibility to make sure they live a long happy life, and for that they may feel bad now but will look back and thank the heavens that you did what you did.
It's really hard to control the eating of a person with prader willi. The child will eat out of the garbage or maybe resort to things that are not foods, like rocks. The craving is that insanely bad.
I had a classmate like that in elementary school and we all teased her. How fucking horrible. I’d take it back in full with interest if I could. Who knows if she’s even still alive due to health/ suicidal issues 😢
@@ParanoidBobby we were all like 7 years old at the time( this was in elementary) so I’m not sure but I believe it might’ve been both. Bc she was way too young to be that big, the school had to call the fire department just to get her down the playground bc she was crying all day. I remember her mother being a rather large woman so maybe it was just genetics. Either way I will forever feel horrible for joining in on the laughing and bullying.
Wow, I used to know someone who had a brother with this syndrome. Fortunately, his case is not as severe as this and he is healthy thanks to his mother.
That's so sad that this little girl is dealing with that disorder. I'm sure she just wants to run & play just like the other kids. Bless her heart ❤️ I hope her doctors & parents can help her to have a better quality of life, & I pray she is loved & happy.
That child is 'morbidly obese' tho no point not saying the truth of the matter when it will reduce the length of her life and by saying so you might save another little girl from getting this bad.
Obesity is a medical term. It's the most correct and specific term here. Obesity is a very bad thing for your health, so let's not sugar coat it with euphemism.
I genuinely started crying when I saw this. And coming from someone who’s had weight problems since I was young and now almost 19 years later I’m finally starting to do something about it, I don’t wish obesity on anyone. I hope the time the video was taken during the time her parents realized she needs to lose weight and that they’re changing her eating habits and encouraging her to go to the park to have fun
If her parents don’t lock this down now can you imagine how she’ll be in a few years. She’ll wind up being fully immobile and requiring full time care forever. Not to mention the amount of medical intervention she may require. Nobody would wish that on this poor child.
In elementary school I had a classmate that was almost 300 pounds. it was pretty sad and difficult to watch her struggle with daily activities. She had numerous serious health issues aside from the morbid obesity and had a number of restrictions while at school including limited physical activity in PE and recess, for safety reasons we were told. Anyway, no idea if she's still alive. Kinda sad to see kids in that situation.
The parents of this beautiful girl, should get help, to then, help their daughter! Sadly, this poor baby, will not get very old, if she doesn't get the help she needs, very soon!😔 How sad... .
I can’t imagine being insatiably hungry all the time, that must be awful. Surely there is some medication that can help people like her feel less hungry. At the end of the day, the parents need to try harder so that she won’t suffer. She can barely walk up the steps at 6 years old due to her weight. That’s tragic
Young lady great job on doing your exercise!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I am soooo proud of you!! This will be hard, but it isn’t tougher than you are. Look at you putting the rest of us to shame! We have no excuse to not do better ourselves. If you see this let your parents add me! We can encourage each other! You go baby!❤️❤️❤️
It's not up to them. This is child abuse. I have a niece with this disorder and pica and their are many things that can be done to prevent heart disease, diabetes, and other deadly diseases. Yikes. She's suffering.
Nah if the kid has that the parent should be putting more effort into their child. Bullying is one thing, cardiac arrest and potentially debilitating yourself is a whole other level of abuse
The same way parents should be held accountable for kids being underfed, they should be held accountable for kids being over fed. If she has a medical condition, her parents should be more on top of her food intake with doctor or nutritionist help.
That breaks my heart. This child needs to be out playing with her friends. A child shouldn’t have to be dealing with this. Please Lord help this girl! 💔🙏🏾✝️
@cidis2797 look, I understand the internet is lacking in basic human decency, but you did not need to stoop that low. Hope everything's okay where you are.
I actually saw a documentary of another girl who has this and its heartbreaking how hard the parents have to be on her because she'll litterally eat herself to death. They had locks on the kitchen food cupboards and locks on the kitchen door to keep her from eating when she's not supposed to. The girl described it as being excruciating, being hungry all the time even though she just ate. This poor girl in the video, her parents might not even be aware that she has this condition or they're very negligent. She needs strict dietary control otherwise she'll eat herself to death.
It is manageable. They aren’t managing it, no excuses. Put the child on a diet designed for epileptic children. Meat, meat products. Zero carb. The child will feel more full and will not get that overweight if at all. Absolutely NO Food in that house that the child is aware of that he or she is not allowed to eat. Period. Be responsible parents.
This is just abuse, there’s a difference between the conditions that make it nearly impossible to lose weight vs “I just feel hungry” feed her an appropriate meal and call it a day, she can whine saying she’s hungry but she’s LITERALLY not since she just ate. Keep her on some exercise and she’s fine.
It's a bit more complicated than that. It's not just feeling a little bit hungry. People with this illness can feel like they're literally starving, which causes high levels of aggression and they often find ways to steal food from the fridges, like sneaking out at night and literally eating from bins and trash because of their hunger. I watched a documentary where the family literally had to padlock their fridge and the kid ended up just eating dog food.
Yes my younger cousin god bless her, she had this condition… she passed away in her sleep but when we were younger we understood she had an unsettled appetite and that was the extent, she was so sweet and would sit in the corner eating her peanut butter… pure innocence she maybe passed at the age of 11… I know first hand it was something not even the best parent could manage
I hope and pray that this little girl gets all the help she needs from not only her parents/family but her doctors. She's going to need everyone's support. ❤
First thought for me was Prader Willi. There was no parent blaming bc most parents love their kids and want the best for them. This is such a sad condition. 😭
This is just straight up child abuse! Make your kid eat healthier! Stop giving her fat people food and have her eat healthy foods such as meats and veggies not doughnuts and cake. Sickening how poor a job parents do these days!
@@thevangsta9892 that and lots of bread products but yeah fried foods can actually give you cardiovascular issues if consumed in high quantities too frequently. Also believe it or not you also want to stay away from corn and anything with corn in it as it doesn’t grow naturally anywhere and is a hybrid crop between grass and some shubby bush found in central and southern Mexico and Guatemala that only contains fattening characteristics and again is NOT fit for human consumption.
People with this genetic condition literally feel like they are starving 24/7. No matter how much they eat, the starving feeling never goes away. Even if they only have access to healthy food, they will keep eating and eating, and if no one stops them, they will eat until they puke. They are known to dig thru garbage or even steal to get something to eat. It’s very sad.
Okay clearly you guys did not watch the video. It's a medical condition she has where her body cannot send the signals to the brain saying that it's full. She is constantly hungry no matter what. Traumatic brain injury can cause unrestrained appetite (at least for awhile) also. Those children must be monitored closely so they cannot access food themselves. You have to be with them, lock up food if necessary. These children depend on another person to keep them from gorging themselves with food. If you are unable to provide the care needed for a child with this problem, it’s probably time to find someone or somewhere that can. The children deserve you to be their apestat. 😢

As a parent, this is inexcusable and child abuse.
Most People with this disorder become incredibly violent. If you don't give them what they want especially food
I know two people with this disability, although they are difficult to manage neither were overweight.
Whomever this child lives with has a carer's responsibly to give her proper support.
Also it is a genetic condition, involving the 15th chromosome. It's not a disease.
A disease can be defined as "disorder of structure or function in a human, meaning this can be defined as a disease.@@smilecatdiamondpaint
@@Doomstroyer42X I looked into this after your comment, and it is interesting, but one's traditionally called a disorder and not a disease/illness/sickness. But yes I realise you are correct.

Who knows if she’s even still alive due to health/ suicidal issues 😢
did she have the condition or just obese?
@@ParanoidBobby we were all like 7 years old at the time( this was in elementary) so I’m not sure but I believe it might’ve been both. Bc she was way too young to be that big, the school had to call the fire department just to get her down the playground bc she was crying all day. I remember her mother being a rather large woman so maybe it was just genetics. Either way I will forever feel horrible for joining in on the laughing and bullying.

I feel so heartbroken for this child I've been overweight my whole life and it's hard to make friends and companionship
Man this is really sad
If her parents don’t lock this down now can you imagine how she’ll be in a few years. She’ll wind up being fully immobile and requiring full time care forever. Not to mention the amount of medical intervention she may require. Nobody would wish that on this poor child.
That's heartbreaking for a child to endure. I pray she gets the help she needs and deserves. ❤
That’s sad, I hope her health gets better, hope her parents implement this asap.
I hope she gets the help she deserves!
My smile instantly frowned when i didnt hear santa...

The parents of this beautiful girl, should get help, to then, help their daughter! Sadly, this poor baby, will not get very old, if she doesn't get the help she needs, very soon!😔

I can’t imagine being insatiably hungry all the time, that must be awful. Surely there is some medication that can help people like her feel less hungry. At the end of the day, the parents need to try harder so that she won’t suffer. She can barely walk up the steps at 6 years old due to her weight. That’s tragic
I feel so bad for her, but the gotta force some restrictions no child should by that big at 6

Poor child! I hope she lives a better life.
This is horrible, may god help her.
It's not up to them. This is child abuse. I have a niece with this disorder and pica and their are many things that can be done to prevent heart disease, diabetes, and other deadly diseases. Yikes. She's suffering.
That’s so sad! It’s like if she doesn’t eat she will starve
Nah if the kid has that the parent should be putting more effort into their child. Bullying is one thing, cardiac arrest and potentially debilitating yourself is a whole other level of abuse
Poor child, I hope she is able to live a long active and healthy life!
The same way parents should be held accountable for kids being underfed, they should be held accountable for kids being over fed. If she has a medical condition, her parents should be more on top of her food intake with doctor or nutritionist help.
You do realize they will eat anything. Animal food, garbage, rotting produce/meat. And then become violent
That breaks my heart. This child needs to be out playing with her friends. A child shouldn’t have to be dealing with this. Please Lord help this girl! 💔🙏🏾✝️

DONT POST THIS ON REELS

this is why parents must guide and control their kids. without discipline there's no way kids alone know what is better for them.
