Like I can’t sketch or do doodles for my life so this would be awesome if you do that then I could purchase some to practice coloring it in then I could feel what kind of doodles to do!! kermit sewerside it's easy just put the tip of the marker you use in the colorless blender and turn it upside down for 15 sec and just color in and it will slowly change color to a lighter or darker color and their cheaper then copics if you ask me :D

But...after discovering that the problem I was having with my art was that I was trying to do it "too quickly". I was trying to get something done so I could do the next part, or start something new. And my art and sanity at seeing the crap I was making has been degrading over the last 6 or so months. After hearing you list the time as a "drawback", I thought: PERFECT! I was not disappointed! :) These markers FORCE me to take my time with colouring and this has both increased the quality AND, more importantly, my sanity. I found myself actually *relaxing* as I use my Chameleon's. Having to pause, pick two colours, snap and wait, then colour or do a test run to see if I like the transition...and do it again if I didn't...well, yeah. It takes a LOT longer. And I'm loving every second of it. :) I don't feel "pressured" by my own brain to 'just get it done'...because I'm being forced to stop and wait. Chameleon markers may have just saved me from cutting off an ear and sending it to some random person. ;)

You can do the same trick with Copics: Just put the tip of one against the tip of another while holding the pens vertical. The fact that this was a stunning artwork is mostly due to Vexx’s skill :-)
Alana Haney not exactly. Because they’re alcohol base u can get rid of some of the color on another scrap paper like he did in the video too and the marker tip would be back to normal. It might stain the marker if u leave it too long but it will still hold true to its color.
Yup, it won’t ruin the tip. That’s why you can blend with alcohol markers to begin with (mixing the colors on the paper would also affect the nibs of other pens, but (good) alcohol markers just clean themselves).

i have a couple of copics and the hole chameleon collection and the result you get with chameleon is much more well blended and the tips return to normal. One of my copic now is purple instead of fushia

Chameleonnn markers are markers that can be dark to light or light to dark, it’s satisfying, nice complete set and btw some colors of chameleon markers are fading and I really love it
I’m pretty positive those are water based. Been using markers for a couple years tried those and not impressed. Maybe if someone is superrrrr patient and works quickly with the color they could get some decent results but they’re not that good. Layering rips up the paper making it hard to blend multiple colors. I’d use them more for hand lettering

No they aren't, I've had those specific markers and they were nothing but garbage they cost me 70 damn dollars for a fucking bullet tip and a tiny ass brush tip (exchangeable) bit they don't even work after the first tip

Chameleonnn markers are markers that can be dark to light or light to dark, it’s satisfying, nice complete set and btw some colors of chameleon markers are fading and I really love it

I never really use markers, since I use ink pens, regular pens, or black marker but those look really good

Blackrose Sage yea but they are super smooth and wants the professional technique to work.. and i hope he would show us the proper way
I’m pretty positive those are water based. Been using markers for a couple years tried those and not impressed. Maybe if someone is superrrrr patient and works quickly with the color they could get some decent results but they’re not that good. Layering rips up the paper making it hard to blend multiple colors. I’d use them more for hand lettering
Chantal - Artistlizard101 same! but because i draw more of a modern archeticture/ abstract drawing i dont use colors, so i started using these !
musab salah ahhh that’s why. Yeah they’re good for simple stuff but for illustration like what vex does it’d be a bit difficult to get those kind of vibrant blended results.

Nah..they are good but I guess they are really hard to use and the colouring and blending of the small surfaces didn't end up looking that good
No they aren't, I've had those specific markers and they were nothing but garbage they cost me 70 damn dollars for a fucking bullet tip and a tiny ass brush tip (exchangeable) bit they don't even work after the first tip
