Not only do you bring some order to Mr Hubnut's escapades but you have a wonderful , infectious character and an obvious love of those around you and the area and history of where you live! Thank you for bringing some sanity back to a World that appears to be dominated by a 'its all about me' culture.
Dylan Thomas: in 1981, I delivered a consignment of real ale from Tyneside to the Black Lion at Newquay. The manager of the pub who received the delivery was the absolute double of Dylan. Have often wondered over the years 'could they possibly be related?', a cousin or son perhaps? Newquay is a wonderful place, and the cafe opposite the pub does excellent all day breakfasts. Great film, and a very engaging presenter, thanks.
I am really enjoying the Miss Hubnut videos! Everyone in the family is interactive and Miss Hubnut herself has a really heartwarming charm to her. Do keep up the good work 🤗
We walked through New Quay on the Wales Coast Path. Very pleasant place. Thanks for the guided tour. We reached Carmarthen in autumn 2019. Looking forward to returning to finish the 870-mile walk. Greetings from Conwy, North Wales.
I spent many summers in New Quay as a child - and the smell of fish and chips mixed with the salty tang of drying fishing nets will always remind me of those times.
Charming, entertaining and informative, Miss Hub Nut and you are quite correct about the culinary wonder that is mushy peas...excellent with fish and chips.
“Miss HubNut Explores” is a fantastic idea, I love it. Well done Miss Hubnut this video is fantastic, it's nice to see you all on a day out. This channel is going to go places, I can feel it.
Thanks for your delightful video! I haven't visited Newquay since before Covid but know the area well having acquired a caravan at Cwmtydu in 1979 when my children were young. We used to spend Easter, Spring Bank and the Summer school holidays there so know the area from Cardigan to Aberystwyth. Ice cream at Aberaeron, fish & chips on the beach in Newquay and dolphin spotting from the Quay. The rock pools at Cwmtydu, and enjoying the glorious beaches ar Aberborth, Penbryn and Llangranog. I see in your video the Post Office now shares the shop in Glyn Square, back in 1979 it used to occupy a house in Glanmore Terrace just down from the Chapel and then moved to Church Streets halfway up the hill on the left in the 90's. Sold the caravan in 1995 and now retired with 2 grandchildren dearly wish l could turn the clock back😃 Thanks again looking forward to more of your videos 👍
I like history very much. and Miss Hubnut did an amazing job. So much material for episodes in your area. So much more on the continent when the road trips there resume. I look forward to more content. Excellent!
Lovely. Just flippin' lovely. Truly, lost for words at how enjoyable that was. So natural on camera, relaxed delivery. Fabulous. Loved your variety of information, the bits of local history, the erosion, the lifeboats. Interested to hear that about the erosion, as I'm over on the east coast of Ireland, and our east coast is being eroded too. I'm up near Dublin, near Bray, where the railway line had to be moved inland, about 100 years ago. They may have to do it again. Straight across from you, on the Wexford coast, it's a serious problem in places too. So, the Irish Sea is trying to get wider. Anyway ... thank you MH. Great vid. Looking forward to more videos, coming along soon ! (sorry, Harry !)
You weren't kidding when you said that when you do something you throw your all into it. This was a really well presented and very interesting video, Newquay tourist board will love it too.
This is great! HubNut for cars, HubNotes for bits and pieces and Miss HubNut to apreciate de rest of the scenery. Subscribed and ready for more! Best wishes from Romania!
My Granny lived in Aberaeron until recently and I’ve been visiting New Quay with my children for years, spent hours sitting on the pier watching dolphins. Love Creme Pen Cei, the Lime Crab and Bluebell Bistro. Fantastic tour of the area, loved watching it on a rainy day in London.
Miss Hubnut, that was exceptionally good and I enjoyed every minute. You have a really natural presentation style in front of the camera and of course the content was very interesting. New quay is so beautiful and I was amazed at just how blue the water looks. Also, your children did a great job adding to the overall content. Ian definitely has some serious competition so let’s hope for his sake you don’t start reviewing cars. Well done family of Nuts!
I loved seeing the “things you eat” in all your videos. I have been to New Quay and went on the dolphin sighting boats. We did see dolphins and overall had a great time. Lovely video.
Was there with my wife on a day trip while camping at Aberystwyth in our car it was beautiful miss hubnet your videos are so excellent and love the history of each video well done
What a lovely family day by the sea. Thanks for inviting us along. Provoked some happy childhood memories of trips to Scarborough, what with the cockles and chish and fips on the beach and especially the dandelion and burdock. My favourite tipple as a child. (Sigh - a lifetime ago now) On a slightly separate note, I have a great admiration for dolphins - they have such a sense of porpoise. (Boom, tish!) No? I'll get my coat on the way out. x
So, Mr. Hubnut is all about *cars*, Miss Hubnut is all about *locations*... This was a pleasure to watch! Excellent narration by Miss HubNut. How about you folks (re-) visit Portmeirion? I´m sure the HubNut family will watch a few episodes of "The prisoner" before :)
This is just wonderful have been a Hubnut fan for years you are a great Host thank you for taking us along taking me places l would never get to see 😁😁😁😁
This is *Utterly Fascinating* - thank you all for this guided tour - Miss Hubnut clearly has a talent for telling stories. I look forward to seeing more in the same vein. Miss Hubnut needs a drone that can hover "upshot" (like upstream) like a robotic camera person for when Ian is busy with cars, or perhaps train the nutlets in camera work for pocket money :)
Absolutely delightful as always! Love that you brought your children along...a real FAMILY affair. Part of your charm is the way you describe places and things from an ordinary person’s perspective to which we can relate. My wife & I traveled through much of the UK on our Honeymoon, including sort of a diagonal trip, North to South, through Wales. Also, we love the poetry of David Whyte who is also from Wales. Small world indeed. Thank you
Well that was a great intro to Newquay. Friends have camped there and said what a splendid place it was and I can see that they were not lying. I spent many a holiday in Llanbedrog in the North. Wales is a splendid place.
Thank you Miss Hubnut, New Quay is such an amazing place, we shall be moving hear in the very near future so if we see you guys out and about we will come and say hi x
Miss Hubnut. Your videos are really interesting. We live in the West Midlands and frequent West Wales often as my father resides in Llanelltyd. Such a jolly coincidence that I love old cars and these parts of Wales. Ynyslas is my favourite place on earth. Much love.
At first I was thinking hmm but I soon warmed upto it, a really pleasant video about a pleasant spot. I thought the junior members were amazing, I could never do something as brave as facing a camera and be so natural. Subbed and looking forward to more "adventures". If you get a dog it could be return of the Famous Five, with lashings of dandelion and burdock. Btw burdock is also a plant, the one that attaches seed cases by hooks to your clothes and pet hair, called burrs.
Loving the Hub based empire!.....brilliant! I’m only 2 seconds into the video and had to comment, already subscribed and certain I’m going to enjoy the channel. You could expand even further by strapping an action camera to one of the Doggo’s and call it Dog Nu....... no that won’t work, Hub Dog that’s better! Good luck with the channel!
Well what can I say I came about you accidentally but am I glad I did it looks a lovely place I’ve never been keen on Wales but seeing this is changing my mind on what i have missed well done I really enjoyed watching you here’s to more to come 😊

We visited New Quay on a few occasions last week as we were staying in Talgarreg just a few miles away. We have watched all your guides whilst we were away and found them all very helpful. Sorry to say we missed the elusive unicorn ice-cream but the other flavours more than made up for my daughter's disappointment. A lovely part of the world. I think I narrowly missed Ian's post run by a day, which was probably lucky for him as he'd have had a weird star struck fan, most likely staring and not saying much, with two kids saying, "Dad that's that man on the internet you watch" and "where are the hublets" 😂 Keep up the good work, thank you!
Fabulous video, so lucky to get to drive around that part of Wales for work, New Quay is amazing, to my shame I only learnt last year that it is two separate words! I have only lived here nearly all my life!!!
Just come over from the HubNut channel to check out a video or two. I have to say i love this, the style somehow manages to casual yet professional. Very well done and thank you for the tour.
What a lovely video ! Enjoyed every second of it. Ms Hubnut is a natural and did a superb job with the narration . Great camera work too . Oh I want some chips . I feel hungry already and I have only just eaten .
Fantastic, loved the video and made me feel a tad homesick! My mamgu used to live on Church St when I was growing up! 1 Spring Gardens 😍wish we still had that house
Nicely done and the scenery is beautiful. In the US on the east coast we have Disco fries which are chips and gravy with melted mozzarella cheese on top. Yum! Enjoyed watching the video and look forward to more of them. Lovely area you live in.
If Wales gets overrun by tourists some day, this will be because of all the nice footage we see on Hubnut and now also on the Miss Hubnut channel. Hope 2022 will be the year to do travel again.
New Quay looks really nice. Well done Miss Hubnut. I thoroughly enjoyed your tour. Being that my surname is Wales, I will have to try and get over there one day. In Australia our rissoles are usually minced meat with herbs or onion, covered with bread crumbs. And yes, chips are better with gravy.
I loved New Quay when I lived in the UK but its been many years since I was there, I now live in Melbourne Australia - I have been back to the old country a few times on holiday but have not returned to visit New Quay but will do so next time - you are indeed lucky to live there !!!
Ian, you've really landed on your feet with Miss Hubnut and the kids. She is wonderful and has brought out the best in you. What a lovely family 😊
Not only do you bring some order to Mr Hubnut's escapades but you have a wonderful , infectious character and an obvious love of those around you and the area and history of where you live! Miss HubNut is extremely good at this stuff - very good diction and very little 'dead air'. You should do this as a full time job Carly.
That's a really lovely comment thank you

This is pretty good as a companion series to HubNut videos! I'm very impressed with the camera work! 😉
Thank you. Mr HN was having a wonderful time playing with angles and panning and so on
Well done miss HubNut! Stunning scenery and great weather for you all

after years of hub nut its quite refreshing having a miss hubnut showing us some some of the facts and places in New Quay

First class! Miss H is very engaging and fluent. It certainly made me want to come and visit Newquay.
Thank you, lovely comment
Very enjoyable - Lady Hub Nut knows her heritage - what a lovely relaxed part of the UK New Quay is. Remand's me of my childhood - simple pleasures
It's wonderful and a perfect place to raise Hublets. As you say it's all about those simple pleasures
She's the prettiest accessory you could garment the next vehicle you're going to get on
and to test drive . Cheers from Argentina !
very very nice family day out and stunning scenery, bring on some more

Hurrah a mushy pea fan! Thank you
Should be a series called “Miss HubNut Explores”, inspired by messers Marshall and Pipe!
Like it, do more! 👍

And while exploring, teach a little bit of Welsh :-)
