    How can somebody have such a soothing voice. I mean, never have i ever thought of learning geography with such interest. I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF HIS VOICE. Half of the time i'm literally wondering if only i can hear this voice all the time.

    At around 4:35, you said that “it is conduction that is heating the surface of the earth step by step”, i.e., you said first it is mesosphere, then stratosphere, then troposphere.
    What written in NCERT is different I guess. Earth is heated just by direct radiation of earth (34%) and some radiation that it receives after scattering of radiations from atmosphere (17%). Conduction process then heats the layer of atmosphere nearest to earth and which transmits the heat to upper layers. Conduction takes place this way.
    And warm air also itself rises up. That is convection.
    My 2nd doubt : Whose contribution is more in heating the layers of atmosphere ? Conduction, convection or direct absorption of short wave radiation ?

      through insolation, 1st earth gets heated and then this heat is transferred to troposphere..etc. this is conduction. But he explained it something else.

      Normally temperature decrease with the increase in altitude @ 6.5 degrees per kilometer.
      But, under some circumstances this doesn't happens. i.e. the temperature increases with increase in altitude. This situation is termed as temperature inversion.

    Sir you said that which part of earth receives more heat,there will be more moisture and that causes clouds but in the subtropical deserts they got maximum insolation than how that is cloudiness
    And 1 more point that as equator is hotter than tropics than how can it possible equator receives less insolation than the tropics
