@MichaelsTechTalk You should really put a big disclaimer that all these magsafe cases will disable S-PEN capabilities as long as the case is attached. This is a well know issue. I actually got my S24 Ultra in the mail today and personally tested an ESR flipstand case and it causes a dead zone shaped in the ring for the S-Pen. I would warn everyone about it.
It looks to be a wide known issue with these ESR cases, looks like the magnets are too strong in these cases. It doesn't happen in all cases though. I'm currently using the Benks Armor Pro case and there's no issues with Magsafe and the S Pen on this one.
It doesn't. So it's false. I have magsafe cases on all mine and it doesn't effect the spen..only time is on some magsafe powerbanks..but I use anker and never have an issue

Have the hybrid case and have to say its either Spen or MagSafe accessories. The phone doesnt detect the spen near the vertical magnet strip and the ring
I almost got this case because I like the kickstand setup but decided against it because the the camera lip. I HATE that. MagSafe needs to have a flat surface to attach the accessories too. Sure you can use the round chargers and stuff but most accessories aren't a perfect circle. Like my ESR wallet for example would go over that edge and that annoys me a lot. I don't want or need a giant camera bump lip just make it flush or a tiny tiny recess Half the reason I want a case is so it lays flat and the other is scratch protection. I ultimately decided on the torras magsafe case with the kickstand. It still has a lip but not nearly as big. May not like it either. Hopefully case makers stop doing this. Its really unnecessary. Like are you setting your phone down on gravel?
Agree with you completely! They should eliminate that plastic 'rim' around the Camera Lens assembly. The back of the case should be COMPLETELY FLAT for MagSafe alignment! 😋

Just a small correction as to the description of the Phone layout... at the Bottom of the Phone that is not the 'Microphone' at the middle point. That is in-fact the Bottom SPEAKER of the S24 unit. The actual microphone is the tiny hole off to the immediate right of the USB-C Charging Port. Not a big deal but worth pointing out.
Me personally I don't like it either. I was a big bumper fan but they stopped make then when Samsung started coming out with rounded screens and everyone started following that trend. Now that that trend is starting to fade I'm starting to see bumpers come back and some cases that they called frameless cases.
Can you stick these to any metal surface safely like a fridge? Ive seen a case called magbak and this was possible. Wondering if the ESR magnets are strong enough for this
The ESR MagSafe case interferes with the S pen unfortunately.....will have to return mine. It is really nice looking and i love the stand but my S pen gets crazy and does not work well. It is a common issue on Galaxy Ultra phones and lots of the MagSafe cases (not all*) . Hence Samsung does not offer those!

Have you tested the magsafe battery bank with these cases. Do they work. I have bought Anker5000mah magsafe batterpack and it doesn't stick well to my S24 ultra as the camera hole comes in between bottom camera protrusion and battery. The only magsafe accessory you seem to be using is round. You won't face much problem.
Yes i have used batteries and they've worked with no issues. Not sure what you mean about the round comment. All magsafe accessories magnets and charging coils are round..

Anker 622 is rectangular and the Apple MagSafe charger is round. It is important to note that the rectangular chargers may not adhere as securely to the phone due to the S24 camera bump. This is because the rectangular shape does not avoid the camera bump, unlike the round ones. The camera on the S24 is positioned closer to the MagSafe ring compared to some older Samsung phones or iPhones, which affects the adherence of rectangular MagSafe chargers.
The only time a magsafe case will cause overheating is if the magnetic ring doesn't lineup with the charging coils in the phone. I haven't noticed it with this case in fairness.
I have this case and the magnet is so strong and close to the camera that it actually interferes with the optical zoom lens. If it was only the s-pen issues I wouldn't worry but it screws up mechanically moving parts. Just another case to throw in the trash.
There's a review on Amazon that says if you remove a few magnets closest to the camera it'll fix it. But ultimately that's what's stopping me from this case too.

I respect your thoughts but if you check, magsafe is usually used by less than 5% people carrying these devices. It's one of the gimmicks from the brand to generate more revenue. Cause with such batteries and fast charging, I find so less people are carrying power banks now. OnePlus has been revolutionary in this, with fast wireless charging and 100-120 W wired charging. I hope flagships like Samsung and Apple charging over 1200$ should be providing fast charging options now and most importantly CHARGERS too

Is Samsung addressing the magnet interference with the Spen issue. Its been known for years. Mag assessories are the best new things but not at the expense of my Spen functions. Come on Samsung! Fix it!
I have the ESR transparent case, and I'm returning it because: - S pen doesn't work well even without any accessory on it - I own a pixel stand wireless charger, and the phone will not charge with the wireless charger
I have bought the Spigen clear case and it just arrived. The fitting is very tight around the phone. But now wireless charging and the S pen is working great again! Unfortunate that I have to get rid of the ESR case because it looks so good 😅

Yup I agree. My pen works fine on all my magsafe cases. I don't even try use my pen when I'm using my magsafe power bank.

No you can’t with the ESR cases sadly.

It's not too bad, it will show fingerprints regardless but a little less due to it being matte.

ESR FLICKSTAND BOOST HALOLOCK GALAXY S24 ULTRA CLEAR. It does not detect the pen in many places. Why?
