      Tomorrow is the stage. If Roglic doesn't lose significant time I can't see him losing enough in the last week. Kuss can be unable to help tomorrow after the effort today. Slovenians can end up with all of the jerseys. I can't believe that Madrazo is still in the KOM jersey after getting 0 points in the last 18 mountains.

    I've been following this race particularly to see the young American riders newish to grand tours in support of Roglic .... so delighted to see that Sepp Kuss had opportunity to win a stage. Good for him!

    I think the funniest thing of yesterday's sprint was that Bennett said he wasn't sure had all the people ahead of him been caught. Nobody seemed to be coming after him so he compromised by not celebrating too much, he could have looked very silly if he were to celebrate 3rd or 5th place.

    • @johnnysecular
      @johnnysecular 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      i still think he will win this; everyone says he's slipping behind, but it may be the others are pulling ahead, and maybe they're pushing too hard. there's a chance Quintana will take the lead in stage 18 and go on to win. In stage 15 of the Tour de France, Bernal wasn't in a very different situation.

    Credit to Jumbo Visma as they are bossing the Vuelta this year, but Valverde was so strong today and Movistar's team are literally the worst in cycling for not giving him a better shot (yes I know they will win the 'best team award' but only stage wins and the individual Jersey wearers are remembered).

    What a ridiculous show. The intercom is totally destroying all the joy. It's become very predictable and boring to watch the leading team take control and blocking the road to prevent attacks. The cycling sport has developed to be riders with Watts and weight rather than to be a full spectrum sportsman where you actually have to make own judgements, own tactics and your own impulsive actions based on what's happening in the peloton. This is the death of cycling if it continuous.🚴👎
