Actually, this is a tragic misconception...If a portion of SS was privatized, as George Bush proposed decades ago you would have already seen generational wealth growth. SS can only be passed to ones spouse, but not to any other heirs or beyond that, so consequently it transfers to the government when you die. However, if you had an IRA or other form of retirement account that money can be passed on to your family/children, or whomever you chose to give it to. This is exactly why minorities have not been able to achieve generational wealth, as they have been fed this lie about SS for decades, and this is exactly how wealthy families have grown their wealth over decades.
@@destinyreturns4885 Republicans would prefer to end Social Security more than anything. They want the whole program to go away so employers no longer have to help pay for their workers retirement. Also privatizing Social Security comes with its own set of problems. Wall street loves to add fees to everything and in the past has done some pretty corrupt things like buying up stocks to sell back to 401k's at a higher price because they knew the instant those programs would go to purchase stock and what they would buy. I do agree though it would be nice to give people the option to invest their social security while they were earning it rather than wait their entire lives to finally get a hold of it.

We import more than we produce and have been outpaced by China. The American worker has become replaceable and, therefore, useless. What good is a minimum wage when an undocumented immigrant will succumb to wage slavery? What good is Medicare for All when economic change (per Marx, Keynes, and Krugman) requires centralization of power, which Dems are so afraid of? Trump is pro tariffs, unions, and onshoring. It's time for a REAL workers' candidate.

And he removed millions of people from medical coverage via the Affordable Care Act. I can see how he is pro the multi-millionaire class but I can't see how he is pro the ordinary working American. I'm also not sure how this answers the question about not paying to the World Economic Forum.
