Thanks for this thorough review! I'm happy with my old Free Radical Xtracycle for now, but it sure would be nice to have a shorter bike that would fit on a front rack of a city bus. The limiting factor is the distance between where the tires touch the ground. Making a rough assumption here, but with 24" wheels I can subtract 12" per wheel from the overall length, then maybe another 8" for the rear overhang of the hooptie. That gets my estimated wheelbase down to 60"-ish. If your local transit bus racks can hold a bike with axles 60" apart, you might be able to take this RFA on the bus with you!
