So in a simplification, the personal data connected to your riot id's (the same data that connects to buyin internal serive such as Internet by Telecommunication Service Agreement) is the problem here.
The thing about ddos these days is that it's not ddosing the t1 players. Rather, ddos disconnects the teammates while t1 players are streaming, which was the reason why t1 players couldn't stream at all last year.

i think its really hard coz not only they're attackig the t1 players, they also attack the players on soloqueue with them that's why they can't stream. plus they will also get attack both t1 players and their teammates even when they're not streaming. they can snipe that they are playing in spectate or something. that's why riot put a bounty on it coz they can't do anything about it.

But what I can say is that a company of their size (billion dollar corporation) having servers vulnerable to ddosing in 2025 is shameful, in my memory this was a thing in the early 2010s at most, and the games that had troubles with this (notably CS for example) all fixed the vulnersbility forever ago. Nowadays basically every online service is at the very least very resistant to this type of attack, and would require an immense mobilization the likes of whic the T1 attackers certainly do not have

Custom Korea Riot anti cheat was leaked and sold in 2023. After that whenever T1 streams they DDoS the teammates of T1 since they are easier to attack, as home networks compared to T1 and KR Riot servers. To prevent this you need all the ISP in Korea to coordinate together to track down and redirect the attacks, without Government’s help this is really hard.
Idea for Atakhan revive: the first player to die stays as is but if another player dies then they get a half/third death timer and so on. It would be strong but would mean you can’t run it as 5 without being punished
Just to talk about the schedule situations, Going from a 6 -> 9 game scrim with better breaks in between is 10x better just from a simple sports perspective. You increase your training output by 50% already by having 3 more games, then you have breaks in between the games, giving you better possibilities of afterwork activities (analysis / comprehension ect) The one 5 game block is so terrible for a pro sports perspective

If they spawn on the alcoves, it will make the game more clear and open instead of having that awkward block clutter in the river where dragon/herald/baron will spawn. Have it spawn at 20 mins and despawn at 25 mins so teams will have to fight for it if they want the buff. This will make more use of the alcove area and more easily accessible and create an unique objective in a side lane.
It all likely originates from the Social Engineering hack from over two years ago, which later lead to the uncovering of the unique Anti-Cheat system that is only used in Korea, which was later used as a way to by-pass their security measures and institute vicious DDoS attacks.
It feels like adding these objectives just makes the game more one dimensional, a good team can no longer do something outside of going for the objectives as losing the objective will just be instant gg. No trading of towers etc...

Honestly at this point I'm convinced that the DDoS attacks are the result of someone who works at their streaming platform. T1 has had documented DDoS attacks not only in Korea but in EU at worlds too. it's also entirely possible that it's a T1 or Riot employee that is leaking the IP addresses. I think at this point since the attacks are extremely targeted it's very unlikely that its an actual client bug or we would be seeing a lot more of these style of attacks against other teams.
it's not T1 players themselves who are directly attacked (T1 has strengthened their network), but rather their teammates in soloq who got disconnected and forcing T1 members to play 5v4. therefore, it's the fact that it is possible for hackers to get everybody's IP addresses that's the problem.
Riot has access to all the player's IP. That Vanguard thing also checks all your files in your PC. They literally have access to everything where that game is installed. CCP game as how other people call it.

@@AzureFides No I do understand that, and that's probably close to how I personally feel too, but I remember they said there was some technical reason they couldnt just "bring back" the winter map? Like I agree I probably like this map worse than the base, but probably experimentation will result in roughly 30% better, 30% worse, and 30% roughly the same
