Not really. Most openings for this degree don’t pay great at the entry level, usually just $15/hr just to test and solder. I’ve had the degree for over 5 years, and what I’ve seen hunting around has been consistent with that. Even over in Japan, it seems like EET grads have it about the same. As for those with student loan debt, I don’t know how they make payments.
