Sounds like a ground loop hum. To get rid of that you need isolated power supplies or a power conditioner. There's a rack mounted one that's popular by Furman.

Hey leo, what you are getting is 60hz hum. You should try plugging all your gear you are using at one time into one circuit. The reason you get the hum is because every ground is slightly different. Using one circuit just takes out a variable

Sounds like a ground loop. Have you tried electronically isolating the two amps and possibly the pedal board from each other? Check the English wikipedia page "Ground_loop_(electricity)" under solutions. "Hum killers," while an easy remedy, usually kills desirable frequencies or cuts into gain. Did you notice something like that? It's another reason I dislike noise gates because they're just gates, hum tends to come back on as soon as you start playing. But they're a quick fix. Amorphis is awesome! first 2 albums are heavier but they use a saxophone on a few albums which gives them this real chill metal
To combat the problem of creating a ground loop via mains earth when connecting two devices together, some appliances will offer a ground-liftswitch. This disconnects the audio ground from the chassis, breaking the loop.

Just a quick tip Leo, the E-Bow is easier to use if you flip it around!
I think, since you have an eBow now, you should do an metal cover in the style of Sólstafir. It's one of my alltime favorite metal bands and the use the eBow in almost every song, they have.

I got into Amorphis in the late 90s/early 2000s. Their albums Elegy, Tuonela, and Am Universum are excellent in my opinion. Their earlier stuff was more death metal-y, but they went a bit more progressive when Pasi joined. If you want to get into them Leo try out those albums!
That "violin effect" I get on my Fernandes without the eBow. Check out the Fernandes sustainer pickups.

Get a radial twin city, your hum is because of ground loops. you need to isolate the ground that goes to one of the amps. regards.

I would say that hum is due to a bad ground in a pedal input/output, hopefully that eliminator works out for you love your covers and other works keep at it man 👍
Try plugging the amps into the same outlet. They need to share the same circuit. Also a ground lift adapter

Hey Leo, the humming is a grounding issue. You're having a ground loop somewhere, that's what causes the humming. Try looking for a solution for that on the interwebz.
DEFINITELY listen to Amorphis Leo - Start with Elegy then Tales of 1000 Lakes and work your way forward to new vocalist Tommy who is just as brilliant as Pasi was. They have many great albums just recently even!

Hi Leo, did that hum killer pedal make much difference? I have a similar problem with my twin amp set up and have tried swapping pedals around and removing pedals one at a time to find the problem pedal, have got it heaps better, great when both amps on clean tones but still a bit noisy on distortion and high gain tones! any suggestions would be awesome Cheers Mike
