Foundations LX4 Quad Stroller, reviewed by a mom of 4 kids ranging in age from 6 months to 6 years. Please drop a comment if you have any questions, and I'll do my best to answer. Happy strollering! 😉
Disney update: As most of you have heard, Disney Parks recently changed their stroller size limitations. When I made this video, the stroller was within Disney limits, but unfortunately it is now a whopping ONE INCH TOO BIG. I'm so sad!!! 😭 I've sent letters to Disney asking them to please consider adjusting their regulations to accommodate quad strollers and explaining the hardship that this restriction places on large families with lots of littles, but I haven't heard back from them. In the meantime, we still love this stroller and we take it all over. It's fantastic for museums, aquariums, shopping malls, the supermarket, etc.
I was looking to buy one for my home daycare. I have to do school pick ups and i live in canada. Have you had experience pushing this in the snow months?
Wow, sorry guys! I need to keep up on the comments a little better! 😬 Ashley, I live on the border between Utah and Arizona, and we almost never get snow here, so I don't have any experience pushing it through snow. The wheels are pretty big, though, so it's probably not too hard as long as the snow is only a few inches deep. It may get the storage compartments underneath wet though. Adela, make sure you are depressing the little button on the fold-down switch thingies when you pull them back. That may be your problem. Ours was pretty stiff when we first bought it, but it got smoother as time went on.
Hi Katy, thank you so much for this review! I am thinking about buying this stroller. Can you fold the seats far enough backwards so the kids can really take a nap comfortably? Thanks a lot!
The back seats fold down more than the front seats, but still not super far. It's enough for a toddler to nap, but probably wouldn't work for a tiny baby. The front seats don't have anything on the sides to rest a head on, but the back seats have fabric on both sides that makes for a great head rest. What we ended up doing is, when our tiny ones were getting sleepy, we would put them in the back and have the bigger kids up front, and vice versa.
It's not designed to hold a car seat. You could probably fit one in the front, but it won't click in at all, and you'll definitely want to reinforce the crash bar.
Yes, I take it all over town. I've only found a couple of doors that it didn't fit through. Most doors are just barely big enough, lol! But with some careful pushing and wheel alignment, we make it through.
No, it's not designed for a car seat. You might, maybe, possibly be able to fit one in the back, but it wouldn't be super stable. I wouldn't recommend it.
For the bumper bar. There’s 2 black plastic dots on each side. The bumper bar needs to be placed between the 2 black things. You installed it above the black things. Atlest on the older version that’s where it goes & it shouldn’t pop off like that
The dots aren't on this model. What we ended up doing is drilling holes through the clasp and attachment on each side and use a pin and C clip to hold it in place. (One of these days I'm gonna have to post an update video...) It works great! The kids climb all over it and it's solid as a rock.
Thank you for doing this review. No one else has this review
That's exactly why I did it! Lol! We searched and searched and finally gave up and just did one ourselves. ;)
I have an older foundation stroller. But I like yours better.
Thank you so much for the video. I am thinking of getting this and could not find a video ANYWHERE. thank you so much, you have sold me one it :)
Was really helpful thank you 😇
That was a great review!

The van in the video is a 1999 Ford Windstar, for those wondering. :)
Very helpful review! Thank you :)
Totally awesome !
I'm happy to answer any questions anyone has! We've been using the stroller for a few months now, and we still love it! :)

Hi I know your video is about a year old now but do you ever take it into stores? Does it fit through most the doors you go in?

Can you use a carseat with this stroller

Katy Camp okay thanks

What kind of car is that? Trying to see if it would fit in mine
It's 1999 Ford Windstar.
Can you jog with this stroller? Moms of 3+ kids have no jog strollers :(
The wheels are big enough, yeah, you probably could. It'll be heavier and a little more cumbersome than other joggers, but not impossible.
H obliged
