- This is part II of my first video. Population explosion is beneficial to a part of society which constantly pushes the agenda that a large population is good for the country. In this video we will analyze the ill effects of population explosion on majority of the society. The World population as well as Indian population is a ticking time bomb. Population & ageing as well as population & environment are conflicting ideas, one emphasizing on economy other on sustainability. Population below poverty line is tremendous leading to low human development. Population control measures are inadequate. Population density is high in India with no near foreseeable population decline. The environmental degradation is enormous, the solution is awareness about the social & economic impact of overpopulation.

एक साउथ कोरिया के यूट्यूबर जो हिंदी जानते हैं उन्होंने भी दोनों देशों की सामाजिक वातावरण की तुलना करते हुए कहा कि भारत में तो किसी कपल द्वारा बच्चा पैदा नहीं करने पर आंटियों द्वारा आलोचना की जाती है कि इन्होंने शादी के इतने साल बाद भी बच्चा पैदा क्यों नहीं किया जबकि साउथ कोरिया में कोई कपल अगर बच्चा पैदा कर ले तो उसकी आलोचना इस आधार पर की जाती है कि ये इसको आधुनिक युग में सही जीवन कैसे दे पाएंगे, उसकी परवरिश करने के लिए क्या इनमें सामर्थ्य है। इससे भारतीय जनता की दिवालिया मानसिकता स्पष्ट होती है जो सिर्फ बच्चा पैदा करने के लिए उकसाती है तथा उसकी परवरिश से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है।

Population explosion and population density both puts immense pressure on the existing infrastructure where it's the govt. Hospitals or the govt. Schools or colleges or universities or real-estate sector and on the natural resources... it's really impossible for any country to provide quality health care, education and food and better public infrastructures if the population growth continues ..

The problem is that it is the economists who comment on population, not scientists.
Scientists always talk about feasibility, environment, nutrition, sustainability etc.
Economists are usually not trained in sciences. They only understand that 4 pair of hands = four times income. They ignore other aspects of population. Even manmohan singh was not exception.
So scientists should also be part of population studies.

I will be putting up a final video next week particularly on making a population policy for the country, please share that to increase awareness, however, as a citizen we can always write a letter to anyone individually or collectively or meet any public representative anytime to voice our grievances.

Sir definitely what you are saying in this TH-cam video I have been saying this to all my relatives and knowns along with all the disadvantaged people I take their counselling for free and try to educate on family planning and general education whenever I feel like. People are so much worked up with daily grind that they do not understand that due to over population we are making mess of everything। The ability to reason, to think and be happy is getting taken away। However, true happiness can come from good family life, if you are still single, choose partner carefully on the basis of liking, knowledge, behaviour and compatibility and not ego or social pressure। That will ensure happiness and sanity at home even when society is becoming irrational।
