It's clear that she likes him... I think what mightve happened was that she was trying to buy him in. Then she realized he was probably sleeping with other women. Once she realized he was sleeping with other women she got really defensive and reneged on the initial arrangement. She offered to take the defendant in when he got out of rehab. After 2 weeks, she wanted him to pay rent which included the 2 weeks when he first moved in. If he knew he was gonna have to pay rent starting from when he first moved in, he probably wouldn't have moved in. She can ask for rent moving forward. That's like if somebody offers you a free cookie, you eat it, and afterwards they're like "never mind, I think I'm gonna charge you for the cookie." Had you known it wasn't gonna be free, you wouldn't have ate it.
