I found this wonderful place about a year ago. Rode by it all the time and thought it was a auto parts store. I stopped one day out of idle curiosity. Only store I go too for food. I just love the place. 161 West Rd, Houston, TX. Clean store. Well stocked, Great Folks
Aldi's Cornish game hens are excellent. I buy two of them, thaw them, then bake them in a pan for an hour, with potatoes and a veggie. I use butter to be sure they don't stick to my cast iron pan. They brown nicely and it's like each person having their own little chicken for the meal. If you are feeding children, you could cut one i half.

Cornish hens are delicious. you roast it the same way as a stuff chicken. 350 and roast for an hour and a half. Absolutely delicious since I live alone I no longer roast a turkey. I’ve changed to what I call my mini turkey, a Cornish hen.

I love the nostalgic ceramic painted Christmas trees. We had one growing up and I want one. I have seen them as much as $30-$40. So $9.99 seems like a good deal. It looks smaller than the ones I’ve seen before but I think I may need one. I have a little one that is an ornament and I love it. ❤😊

OK, this may sound bonkers, but trust me. We had savory crêpes one year after Thanksgiving. Put leftover turkey rolled in the crêpe with gravy and topped with some cranberry sauce. Everyone preferred it to the annual after Thanksgiving turkey sandwich.

Cornish hens used to be 2 for 5. Prices are extreme.
Mix the apple cider with some caramel vodka put it in the microwave is the best thing you ever taste way better than hot chocolate

I love discount grocery stores, like, Save-A-Lot and Aldi, because, you save more money
The Save A Lots I’ve been into are dumpy. Same with Price Rite. That store stunk when I was in it up in NY.

I agree but their coffee is always the best deal no matter what. Usually around 5 bucks a bag. Not bad at all because Starbucks runs 6-8 a bag.

The 3 pack men’s socks are supposed to fit up to size 12. IMO, they run small. I bought them, wearing 1 or to bed. Have a tiny bit of room @ the toes. I wear a size 10/11 in women’s shoes. So I’d say these men’s socks will fit up to size 10 men’s sock comfortably. They are warm!
The mini utensils are good for single people.
Love Aldi but ours is never as well stocked as yours. They don’t usually have all the specialty items that are in the Ads. It’s still worth it with the other great savings. It’s just sad they don’t have all the goodies.

Has anyone bought and used the Ambiano Stand Mixer yet ($49.99)? I was thinking of getting it for my daughter. She does a bit of baking and I know she would like a mixer. I just can't swing $$$ for a KitchenAid or Cuisinart.

I had a brand new KitchenAid about 10 years ago and just this year we got a refurbished from their page. It is half the price and it's basically "new". At least this one looks like, you can't tell it is not brand new. I can't remember if it was 250 or 350.
