Dear Sydnie, I want you to know that I really look up to you. This October I shot my first buck. Knowing that you like to hunt makes me want to hunt more! Every night I watch you on my tv! Thank you for being such a great person!❤
36:05 love this. I’ve never ran a trail cam and probably never will. I love the thrill of the hunt not knowing what or where they’re at 24/7 and only knowing by seeing those deer with your own eyes. Definitely teaches you how to hunt and figure out their patterns.
Man so glad I found this podcast! Been such a student of your school of thought for so many years Tim. The relationship you guys have is a testament to the type of man and father you are. Very I formative and I don’t wanna over fan boy it too awful bad lol. I was blessed to be in SOKY and get to hunt my old grounds the way Tim and I learned it. Have to admit I use trial cameras but I’m one of the few who doesn’t bait in southern KY. One last thing. Seeing how close Illinois came to going red was one of my high points given over the years I’ve been lucky enough to meet and call a bunch of folks in southern Illinois dear friend and understanding their circumstances. See my wife is born and raised in California. So many people just lump all of both those areas in one group. The radical left. Well if you take the time you’ll find out there are tons of common sense folks there too! Those same folks have gone decades and felt like their voices haven’t been heard. What a crappy deal for them huh?! Well by George this year you were heard loud and clear and I know how much that means to you fine folks. I’m so happy knowing how good that must finally feel! Good luck the rest of the season. Now I gotta bait my Cali girl a big buck to hunt in a heated blind for late season lol.
Being from Michigan i kno I'll never see the deer you guys see ,but the info is great! Tim is the greatest bowhunter on the planet! I wouldn't want him hunting me .
Tim agree all your saying I’m 67. Been hunting for 50 years it’s easier now any deer was a archery trophy. The new toys are making it easier for new hunters. The camera thing I have to admit they are a sport in there own.
Gun hunter here. We started using 3D printed decoys last season, and that exact situation happened. Deer walked into a 50 yd shot out from 150 yds. Those decoys are lightweight and look so real. Multiple deer that passed through stopped to look at them.
Congrats Wells! Looks like those were bush honeysuckle not autumn olive in the frame on that second deer. They are thick here in western Il. Working on taking them out. Love the trip down memory lane. In my fifties and I’ve seen all these changes you spoke of.
I used to ground hunt exclusively, but im getting older and have decided trees stands are too comfortable to go back to ground hunting all the time, and i feel like stands are big a advantage, so i recently got a recurve to make it more challenging lol yet to kill any but all in due time. Great show! Liked and subscribed
how far do we take it? This is the best question in hunting Ive heard. Tims stories of when he started with a recurve and and wooden arrow.... The size of the animal doesnt matter. its the skill in getting close primatively. I take my kids all the time, no trail cams, no scents, no descent, not even camo most of the time.
As always, very informative podcast. Unfortunately, I can not relate to most of your techniques since I have never hunted whitetails, but hope to some day.
all my experience is what works is scent gauntlet near my stands 20 cotton balls spread out 10 to 15 feet apart loaded with scent pick you flavor and it attract deer like no other they are looking for does in heat and ready to breed so the dominate buck are defiantly coming in to check it out decoys work great too
Love that Tim calls them horns and not one dbag will say, “uh, they’re antlers, deer don’t grow horns….” Old timers just call them horns even though they know they’re not really “horns”.
tim you were killing big bucks before trail cams, mark and terry were killing big bucks before trail cams ,hell i was killing big bucks before trail cams . its just more work to kill'm with out trail cams . most people would not spend the time we use to scouting in july and aug . trail cams and box blinds have made every body a big deer killer😭😭😭😭
Love it ! Go Trump 😂❤🎉 Sydney was just loving it when Tim said that..Be safe let's all M.A.G.A..Maybe Trump will give you a spot in the administration..Make Hunting Safe Again...Harness up fellows 😅
Finally I get to hear some advice from the GOAT.
He’s 100% spot on!

Well, That was fun. Thanks for a great story/ education time with the both of you. Made my week
Glad to hear someone say something about technology. Don’t let it take over the way it has with fishing.

Yes, it's invasive bush honeysuckle. You have to get that stuff out of there ASAP or it will take over and ruin the place.
That little dog has some chompers !
Love this podcast!

I like watching all your videos and Trump's are hero
Love it
The slock master!
Wish I knew as much as these 2 think they know.
Call it, “The Big Lewey Podcast”
I'm definitely a fan of big racks for rattling me in..
hitting the rattle works for me.
But hey there guys, here in Utah we can't use trail cams during our big game hunts which is cool!!!
Love that Tim calls them horns and not one dbag will say, “uh, they’re antlers, deer don’t grow horns….” Old timers just call them horns even though they know they’re not really “horns”.
Thanks for the info and congrats on an absolute stud
Hi
2025 will be GREAT with our MAN Trump! 😁 Thank you Tim!😁

What kind of dog is Jack? He is a very cool dog.
Jack Russell Terrier, I believe.
Patterdale Terrier!
What kind of dog is jack??
What breed dog is that?
Pattersale terrier!
I don’t know how a logical thinking person can deny what he said about trail cams.
