Hi guys, As the development of this project progressed from its official reveal, and as a part of a ModCon's preview, Odyssey's team and I once again teamed up for an updated video, diving a little bit deeper into what you can expect from this DLC sized mod. It's worth noting that this will be a short 5 minute preview of what you can expect from the mod, as anything longer was a little bit incompatible with the ModCon event. Personally, I am incredibly excited about this mod, and as a massive fan of Legacy Of The Dragonborn, and a great record of its development team, I can with confidence say that you are in for a treat upon its final release. But, there is much work to be done, so patience is required. And, I will make more update videos with at least 1 Odyssey related video by the end of this year. Note: All credit goes to Odyssey / Legacy team and their tremendous hard work and effort. I am just a random dude that put the video together, to perhaps shed some light on the project and to get more people excited for its release. Any questions for me? Ask down below, I will be responding to as many as I can in a timely manner.

Correct in the past, but not not present of Skyrim's story. Alduin's purpose in creation was to consume the world, thus the title "World-Eater". Way back in Tamriel's history, he rebelled and attempted to take over the world instead, leading to the dragon cult and associated priests seen throughout the game. That is the conquest you refer to. He has been denying his role, yes, but his purpose is to consume the old world to make way for the new. Sonofabitch!! Every time I think I'm done with Skyrim this happens. Some damned fool geniuses come up with another reason for me to go back. Alright alright, I'll pack my bags. Looks like I'll be returning to Tamriel.
Very cool. I'm glad this mod has a strong epic narrative to it. I've never quite given Legacy a fair shake because I am sort of an anti-completionist anti-hoarder, so the thought of a questline designed precisely to loot and collect seemed like I wouldn't enjoy it too much, but given the immense praise it receives, Odyssey sounds like it will be terrific.
Welp~ Looks like I'm gonna have to save up for a new graphics card for this baby! Also the *whiplash* of finding out Auryen's VA is American was far more than I was expecting it to be. Good show, my dude!
Is this an add-on mod like Beyond Skyrim Bruma or is it like Enderal where it's more like a total replacement. I would have guessed the former but that mention of character creation at level 50 kind of got me confused.
They really should work with the Beyond Skyrim team because that way rather than needing to craft whole areas that are small they could instead implement their work into the numerous full sized countries within Nirn that are being created
I played Legacy about 1.5 years back. I copied the game folder but I don't know if it will run it now. Whether I will play the Odyssey depends on the scope of the choices of in game decisions you can pick.
They really just out here making es6. It'll be interesting to see what kind of differences in storytelling this and es6 will actually have. Minus the obvious of no DB in es6.
Odyssey, like Legacy, will run on any version of SSE (AE _is_ SSE 1.6.x, just with the paid CC content bundle). LE Legacy has not been officially supported for many years.
So does this mean the LOTD mod is gonna have a new version that we will need to download to be compatible with this and I’ll have to start a new game so that I can have every possible thing in the museum?
So do you have an idea of what the mod requirements are going to be? Legacy of the Dragonborn is a given, but will there be any other mods that'll be needed? Sorry if this sounds a bit strange, I'm still relatively new to modding.
I hope there is different scenarios of the civil war in this mod and not a one side focus. Too many ppl side with the empire but never gave the chance for what happens if the stormcloaks win. Will there be a new empire under the Dragonborn’s leadership with the stormcloak Nords at their back? Will all nations band together under an alliance of independent kingdoms to fight the thalmor and dominion like the all flags navy against the sload? Will there be less conflict or more? So many questions yet many different scenarios and answers.
Why don't you all just walk in Bethesda, tell em to sit the fuck down because y'all got this, and pump out elder scrolls 6 in record time with 10 times the content they promised, and well over a hundred times what they could deliver.

Yeah shadows is going to be scaled down in level a bit in v6 and sancre for thinned on enemy count.
They're fr making TES 6 before Bethesda. Bravo, looks amazing
Dramatic narration followed by…. FROM ICECREAM ASSASIN xD
Sonofabitch!! Every time I think I'm done with Skyrim this happens. Some damned fool geniuses come up with another reason for me to go back. Alright alright, I'll pack my bags. Looks like I'll be returning to Tamriel.
Will LoTD be a requirement to play this? Cos some folks like myself don't want the museum
Welp~
Looks like I'm gonna have to save up for a new graphics card for this baby!
Also the *whiplash* of finding out Auryen's VA is American was far more than I was expecting it to be. Good show, my dude!
2:29 which armor mod is this? Please please please... PLEASE!
Nah, we all know The Most Exciting DLC Mod For Skyrim is Starfield
Is this an add-on mod like Beyond Skyrim Bruma or is it like Enderal where it's more like a total replacement. I would have guessed the former but that mention of character creation at level 50 kind of got me confused.
I must get a new graphics card and new graphical mod list to do justice to this epic.
500Gb Hard Disk: Fallout 4 Sim Settlement 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, now you want to reinstall Skyrim as well?
They really should work with the Beyond Skyrim team because that way rather than needing to craft whole areas that are small they could instead implement their work into the numerous full sized countries within Nirn that are being created
Very excited for this! Still need to play through LotD in its entirety, I've gotta get on that
You should!
Good to see you, man, hope you're doing well.
@@SynMods Thanks! You as well! Have a blessed day!
Skyrim is unplayable for me now without LoTD, Good luck with this new expansion, it will keep us playing for another 5 years lol.
Game of Thrones inspired DLC then this?! Holy CRAP, Bethesda needs to up their game
Any idea when Odyssey is released? Is there still progress, or is the project cancelled?
Only one Question ( maybe 2 )
When is the Release?
Is this Mod only for SE or also for LE / AE ?
We don't have the release date, unfortunately.
This will be for SE and AE.
Release for LE is not planned, as far as I am aware.
With all the times/ money spent on redoing Skyrim and building all the mods, they could have just created their own game/ip
Meanwhile, Bethesda comes out with Starfield. I bet the actual Elder Scrolls VI won't have as much heart, detail and care put into it as these extensive mods.
Honestly this is my most anticipated video game that's been announced
