I just paused this at the garage sailing part and I just want to say something. Gary, when you first came out with the "trash talk" mini series, that is quite literally when my life changed. I almost immediately started going out to garage sales and started flipping stuff on eBay while I was working my shitty 9-5 job. that was back in 2018 when I started, fast forward to now & I've niched down to a single market & not only was I able to quit my bullshit job that was making me extremely unhappy but I now have a successful business buying & selling pre-owned clothing on eBay. So far this year I am on track to do roughly 250k in gross revenue. The net income on that revenue is more money than I have ever made in my life BUT money wasn't the reason I got into it. I got into it because I saw an opportunity that I knew would let me live my life on my own terms. Meaning I can do what I want, when I want, however I want & that, to me, is true freedom. Yes the money is great & I love it but the complete freedom of my time & not having to listen to some idiot tell me what I have to do & tell me when I can & cannot take off work is worth more to me than any amount of money. Quick story. The day I realized I needed to quit my job & kick my ass in gear on building my reselling business was when my Grand Father passed away & I needed to take 2 days off. I put in to take bereavement time for a death in the family & the place I worked at did not recognize grandparents as close or "blood" family(yet they recognized In Laws as blood family) & I was forced to take 2 unpaid days off. It even said it in the employee handbook. That was the day I realized that most places could care less about you & that I needed to get the fuck out of the 9-5 job life. About a year later I was able to grow my reselling business to what it is today & I am happier than I have ever been. The best part is that I recently went in to purchase a car(worked at a dealership & a family member is a manager, gotta get that discount) & when everyone asked how I was doing & where I'm working at now I was able to say I have my own business selling on eBay now. My co-workers used to rag on me when they would ask me how eBay was going & I would tell them I made $5 to $10 profit on selling a single item and they would always give me the "good luck with that". Being able to walk back in after almost 2 years and tell them that's what I do for a living now while slave away at their desk answering phones & have a sales meeting every morning is the absolute best feeling ever. Sorry for the rant but Gary, If it wasn't for you making those video's, I don't think this would have ever happened & I sincerely mean that. I sincerely thank you & can honestly say that if it wasn't for you that I wouldn't be where I am at today. Cheers man.

@@damianplasencia2708 honestly though it wasn’t and if it was then I would have failed from the start as it takes a while before you start actually making money and the amount of mistakes, money spent on bad inventory & just the ups and downs would have made me quit if it was purely for money. The main reason was to get my time back & have complete freedom of time and I believe thats what made me hang on and stick with it for a few years because I knew that down the road theirs going to be a day where I can wake up when I want and do what I want and not have to listen to some stupid boss. Freedom of time is worth more to me than any amount of money. You can make an infinite amount of money but you can’t live an infinite amount if time.

I am happy to say that I was one of the people who witnessed Logan get discovered by Gary and Jerome’s company Grapestory and it’s been a wild ride ever since. Every person in this room I’ve watched since the beginning of their careers and it’s all because I’ve been watching Gary long term. If you don’t watch Gary Vee by now, you should. There are a lot of videos of people trying to say he’s a scam but he isn’t. I’ve witnessed him predict so many things it’s actually insane.
