Its quite interesting that the transistor is basically a one bit MUX, its cool tho, it will make computers much easier to build

    its basic logic gates yea
    but why
    what shape needs logic gates

I only use the wires and inputs on the multi-painter. Not really anything else worth using in my opinion (currently) but the information you described is a good breakdown as to what the new stuff is

You can use wires to make a machine that literally makes any shape in any combination and color. A make anything machine or MAM. If it's wired up to your hub you never have to handcraft ever again.

This tutorial is not very good and I can't find anything on how to emblement these in my factories. I'm not sure if I'm too dumb or something because of my autism or what. I wish there are better examples or more in-depth on how to use these in our factories. my be other tools will be better to use once I unlock them but other wise I'm just confused.

    • @chair5613

The tutorial served its purpose perfectly-to teach you how these components work. It's up to you to figure out what to do with them. If you can't, then you don't need them. These are for the players that want to make more complex creations such as a Make Anything Machine-one machine that can produce any shape.

@@chair5613 that's true too bad i'm one of those people who really wanted to make the anything machine. luckily i found a channel that went more in-depth after figuring it out. They showed examples and everything i needed and i've been able to do my own creations because of it too.

True, you can do make anything machines. But apart from that the usage of logic and wiring as a bit limited.

It would be much more useful if some kind of practical example was added to the video because it is just a vague mention of the individual logic gates. The functioning of the transistor is barely mentioned and its practical usefulness remains even more obscure... Since the game doesn't come with practical help, I would have expected much more from an external video tutorial...

Why is the transistor not called a relay? This is litterally what a relay does, turn on something if you have an input.

    • @YT-Observer

the transistor sends whatever signal that is presented at the input like the shape or color not just a on or off

These tutorials are HORRENDOUS for an official game. The guy certainly knows how stuff works, but he has no concept on how to explain things. What is this all good for? And can you flip around more nervous with your mouse? Game makers should think about giving this some serious thought. I for my part have no intentions to use any of this unless I am told what this is all good for. I am bound to watch other videos that explain better, and the tutorial has failed to tutor me.
