      I lived in California for 14 years. What is shown here is what people not from California would think people from California act like at a poker game. IRL, it'd be mostly Asians and Hispanics calling each other racial slurs while shoving all in on pretty much every hand.

    Being from Canada, it seems as though it is more acceptable for use amongst guys, but typically ONLY when guys are in front of other guys. When we played rugby, people always called each other that, sometimes as a term of endearment. One of the guys on the team, his nickname was LITERALLY "Cunt" and he owned it! Maybe its a commonwealth thing? I know that in England, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, it is more socially acceptable than it is in the United States.

    I have to admit to some confusion here. We have a clip using the C bomb and not the only time for the C and other sweary language on Curb. We have a few comments suggesting that the C word is not such a big thing in The UK...and then, and this is the bit I don't get, we have a queue of posters lining up to criticise others for their swearing norms. Do you spend your lifetimes scouring the net to find things to be pious about?

Plus if we’re gonna compare anecdotes, surely the first hand source of a British national is more valuable than the second hand source of someone quoting friends of theirs, in terms of how this plays out in a “debate” so to speak, not that either of them can prove anything. But yeah, your implications on the modern world certainly demonstrate to me that you know it’s unusual for a twenty year old to hold that opinion; Surely then what I’m saying lands as more correct, if not true in every case?
