Oi, when I was at Jordanville south state school in Melbourne Victoria, like 60 years ago, we learned songs like “on the road to Gundagai” & “wrap me up in my stockwhip & blanket, & bury me deep down below where the dingos & crows cannot get me, in the shade where the Coolibahs grow” also we were taught oh Suzanna, & oh Shenandoah, etc. & I can still remember & sing those songs today! I shudder to think what the kids are learning at primary school these days! 🦘💨💨💨
