how do we know if its a promise? is the entire bible a promise of God? or only where it specifically says "For He has promised..." or something like that?

God’s Word is full of amazing promises.
A promise from God written in the Bible doesn’t necessarily have to say “For He has promised...”, for example:
Proverbs 30:5, Psalms 32:10, Matthew 7:21, Romans 10:9, John 14:27. These are promises.
God’s Word in full is true and His Word has and never will fail. All Scripture is God-Breathed. If God promised something, we can count on Him to fulfill His Word :) However, it is our own sins e.g lack of belief in God/not trusting in God, not following/loving Him, etc... that can hinder us from experiencing God’s loving promises.
Hope this helped somewhat :) God bless!
