The bending Indian sword you're referring to is called "DandPatta" or Pata (Sword). It was mostly used in the 17th and 18th century prominently by the Maratha Empire including legendary warriors like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his general Baji Prabhu Deshpande!🚩

The sword Prez is referring to is the Urumi. Its nowhere near to being like that and isn't really designed for actual combat. Its more compatible to a whip that is extremely stiff or a flail but no ball and the chain is just a sheet of metal. The odd thing about it is, the bending part isn't the sharp side so the point is the move it so it bends then a perpendicular movement to make it cut.
Interestingly, Mitsuri Kanroji has no family history of misfortune and has no hatred for demons. This means that he is different from other soldiers. She hates doing something unpleasant, so the demon cannot forgive her as a result. She is a girl in the Demon Slayer Corps who turned her love into power instead of turning negative emotions into power and became a pillar. She is a pure character like Yuta Otokotsu.

Upon awakening the Mark, the physical strength and speed of the bearer is exponentially increased to the point where Hashira or Hashira-level Demon Slayers are able to overpower and defeat the lowest of the Upper Ranks and fight on equal ground and grow in power comparable to the highest among them. It is implied that the bearer's physical arm strength is increased by around 100x after awakening the Mark, though it could be a hyperbole and thus the value could be much lower. The increase in the speed of the bearer is quite apparent as well, as seen with Muichirō who was having trouble dealing with Upper Rank Five's various techniques and later being capable of regularly out-speeding and even blitzing him in Gyokko's awakened form after Muichirō activated his Mark.
