    Sana po i-reform ang pre-school at primary school natin na mas madaming kurso sa Nationalism, Philippine History at Values. Kung bata pa lang tayo ay may pagmamahal na tayo sa sariling bayan at may pride sa pagiging Pilipino, di natin lalapastanganin ang Pilipinas.

    THIS was quite a tour. Much as gusto ko sanang makapunta sa mga walking tour sa Luneta at Intramuros, schedules so far have not permitted. THIS is a great way to do QC and its role as titled. Salamat talaga. 🙏

    Ipinanganak ako noong 1995 at naging palaruan namin ang lugar ng Himlayang Pilipino Memorial Park. Sa lugar kung saan mismo nakahimlay si Gat Emilio Jacinto malapit sa Pingkian. At gayon din sa himlayan ni Tandang Sora bago siya ilipat noong 2012. May isang lugar din sa loob na kung tawagin ay “Pugad Lawin” kung saan makikita ang isang sining na nagpapakita na nagpulong-pulong ang dating mga katipunero. Maraming salamat po, Prof. Chua sa pagbabahagi ng impormasyon patungkol sa kasaysayan. Mabuhay po kayo! ✊

    Sa QC ako lumaki, naghigh school at nagtapos ng college (lumipat na kami), despite the history classes I was super unaware sa lalim ng history na malapit lang sakin. Naalala ko yung mga lesson sa pagtatag ng KKK pero I'm unaware or didn't realize na sa Balintawak lang pala at kalapit lugar yung mga ganap sa KKK. Kung saan pa yung malapit, di ako nakaranas ng tour, ang naalala ko lang na historical tour ay yung sa Cavite. Nakapasok na ako kung nasaan ang labi ni Manuel Quezon maraming beses na ako nakapuntang QCMC. Sa totoo lang yung mga monuments na nadadaanan ko hindi ko dati pinagtutuunan ng pansin pero ngayon na mas interested na ko sa history (di ko fave subject dati) gusto ko tuloy balikan at iappreciate.

    Dito ako lumaki sa Marcel Village Pasong Tamo QC at kaharap lang nang bahay namin yang Himlayang Pilipino kaya mula pagkabata ko nuong 1980s hanggang ngayon lagi ko nasisilayan yang istatwa ni Emilio Jacinto. Nung bata ako lagi kami nang kalaro ko naglalaro sa may sapa na nag hihiwalay sa lugar namin at Himlayan at lagi sinasabi sa amin nang mga nakakatanda na meron daw mga kweba dun sa ilalim dahil ginamit daw yung sapa dati na taguan nang mga Pilipino habang lumalaban sa Kastila. Sabi din sa amin na yung kinkatayuan nang mga bahay namin ngayon ay maraming namatay dati dahil sa dati itong lugar nang labanan. Ngayon nakinig po ako sa paliwanag nyo tungkol sa lugar namin parang totoo na para sa akin mga sinabi sa amin nung bata ako.

    Dahil sa pagtatayo ng Syudad Quezon nabawasan ang teretoryo ng Caloocan,Marikina,San Juan at ang Novaliches na dati ay spanish pueblo napasailalim na ngayon sa Lungsod Quezon na siyang dahilan na may pinakamalaking land area ng buong metro manila.

    The establishment of Quezon City is the reason why Caloocan City was split into two. The Congress indiscriminately excised parts of my city to give way to that city without thinking twice. Now, Caloocan, my city, is suffering because of this.

    still they should change the capital to Quezon City. It's the best way and the right way.

    wala pang Quezon City noon. Anong orihinal na lugar nasasakupan ang mga area po na yan noon? Maraming bahagi ng mga lungsod katabi ng Quezon City tulad ng Rizal Province, at Caloocan na kinuha para mabuo ang Quezon City kaya nag kahiwalay din ang Caloocan nag karoon ng North at South sa pamumno ni Pres. Manuel Luis Quezon.

Hinde ba ang Mactan Cebu noong 1521 ang unang lagablab himagsikan laban sa mga kastila sa paumumuno ni LapuLapu?? or di kaya sa Maynila Tundo sa pamumuno ni Rajah Humabon ng 1570...at ang Birthplace of our Nation, QC?? I dont believe that.. should be Cebu City, as it is the oldest city in the Philippines as the word "birthplace" means where it all began as a nation.

      Wala pang konsepto ng pagiging isang bansa ang mga katutubo noon sa panahon ni Cilapulapu. Nag-umpisa talaga ang unang himagsikang bayan sa panahon nila Gat. Andres, kung kailan may mga pilipinong mulat na sa konsepto ng nasyonalismo.

      Philippine as a colony of spain started in cebu pero, lumaban man pero hindi para sa kalayaan ng bawat isang Pilipino kundi para lang hindi masakop ang bayan nila. Ang himagsikan po na naganap noon ay may layunin na mapaalis at malupig ang mga kastila ng tuluyan. Kung ang Cebu ang birthplace ng ating bansa bakit hindi sila ang naunang nag alsa nung tayo'y nasakop na? Tandaan ito ang unang bayang bukas palad na tinanggap ang mga Kastila kaya ironic na tawagin itong birthplace of our natin dahil noon ay sakop pa tayo ng mga kastila kaya di natin matatawag pa itong sariling atin

    No, its the birth place of tagalog nation. Visayas and Mindanao already exist before Quezon or Luzon. Remember Lapu lapu was the first himagsikan against Spain. History lang ng Quezon city or Manila yan.😂

      The meaning of the word Himagsikan in English is mutiny, rebellion or to revolt Lapu Lapu was not because to start a rebellion you need to be in disagreement with the current government which is not the case because he was the head of the ruling government of maktan the first revolution in visayas was by Gen Castillo and the 19 Martyrs from Aklan.

    Prof should lay low muna. Bad timing yung publicity niya not because he's showing his historical bias but it his ancestry hurting him. His PhD won't save him from this. As long as Chinese harrassment remains fresh to every Filipino, he'll have a hard time to say "he is not one of them" while the rest of the Fil-Chi community remains their silence and big names show solidarity on the Chinese side.
