Your parents need to support your decisions. It's your life not theirs. Her husband abused her and their son and that's something no one should have to put up with. Her parents obviously cannot be trusted. Time to break ties with her parents and find someone trustworthy of babysitting her son when necessary.

Taylor, you did the right thing to enforce the restraining order and keep yourself and your son separated from an abusive man. Maybe one day your parents will understand your decision.👍🙏

The fact that violated your trust, endangered your child and allowed a monster to see your child and also violate a restraining order is beyond despicable. Stopping financial support 8s one of the best things you did besides invooving law enforcement and CPS. Id relocate and use CAP program to keep address secret. CAP (confidential address program helps victims of DV stay safe).

There is something seriously wrong with your parents. Telling you to stay with your husband even though they know he beat you. And then saying that Eric needs to see his father and be with his father after he hit Eric also. What is wrong with those parents. They got what they deserved. Her son did not need to be with an abusive father. He 0:06 was terrified what kind of grandparents were they and parent yelling at your daughter for divorcing her abusive husband and then going behind her back to call Karl over even though he had a restraining order against him. And then your parents making threats against you once Carl was arrested. Saying they’re going to call CPS against you. Did they really think CPS was going to do something when CPS already had all the information for what happened with her husband when he hit her son and her, those parents should’ve supported her Mike gone against her in favor of an abusive husband. Unbelievable.

"Things went downhill after i married him/her" A very common experience. People wanting to marry should consider this. A marriage does nothing for your relationship, but it binds you legally, and it gives an unfaithful partner an opening to screw you over much more easily.

@flybywire5866; I Hope You realize that alot of these types of men, KNOW EXACTLY how to HIDE being an abusive person. I seen News stories where men have been shot, because of this type of behavior. Some Men have EVEN GONE and KILLED Their partner, tostop them from getting HELP FROM CPS. Get stuip head out of YOUR BUTT.

Okay, they betrayed both their daughter and their grandchild, so they got what was coming. That said, I think I might understand the psychology a little. There's this thing called projection, where people project their own mindset on others. Usually it's used to explain why cheaters assume other people to be cheating, or thieves assume most other people would steal if in the same situation. However it can also apply in other situations, for example people who could never even think of being physically abusive to their family might project that on other people and think there must be some mistake or exaggeration as the idea just does not compute to them. I've seen somewhat related stories where like a fiance or in-laws just do not comprehend how abusive a parent was so they go behind the MCs back to invite them to the wedding. It doesn't help that oftentimes abusive people can be /very/ convincing about how remorseful or whatever they are, basically they're practiced liars so they can get away with their abuse.

OMG, I didn't nt know how, but Taylor's parents managed to be both stupid AND delusional!! What part of "He abused me and my son!" do they not understand?? Its like they're trapped in their own little world. It would make more sense if it were ex-husband's parents, but her own? Wtf?
I know its a story, but the scary part is that there really are people like that.
