Belen fought ferociously in the third set. She refuses to lose and the mvp chant made her more rabid in her attack, digs, blocks. Oh boy, she bite hard and deep putting uste fans back on their seat with a tape across their mouth. they don't know what hit them as they were literally went quite in the fourth set as NU pummeled them no end.

Great observation nung nabasa ko sa X: NUB and NULB started the season with a loss against UST men's and women's. They ended the season with a double championship against the same team.
La Sallian here. UST overachieved this year and deserve their place in the finals. But NU is just at another level. Congratulations to both NU and UST. Great that we can all look forward to a more balanced and exciting season again next year. Animo!

What i love about NU this season is their improvement on defense. Last year i see they are still trying to adjust because of nierva going pro but this season everyone in the team was able to contribute on defense. Lovely season for the lady bulldogs. UST crowd had two goals here, support their team and to intimidate by overwhelming with ther chants and loud noise (disrespectful at some point) the NU Ladies. They failed to do both. UST overachieved this season and won crucial match ups with more luck. Poyos is not the same caliber as Belen or Canino to the dismay of the UST community, Tubu was even better if we compare explosiveness and Volleyball IQ during her rookie year. I compared Tubu and Poyos only because they both move like men on many occassions, mas si Poyos actually. Si UST sala sa init sala sa lamig, it's a bandwagon team na sobrang labo ng consistency as a team.
Wala namang naiinggit kasi deserve nga niya. Kayu lang naman gumagawa ng isyu. Bitter lang siguro kayo sa maliliit na USTE subalit lumalaban. Why not appreciate both Teams? Wag katoxican ang ikalat….

NU played a different level of volleyball in this game! But still, kuddos to UST. As a young team, malaki pa iimprove nito sa mga susunod na season. They need to strengthen their volleyball IQ kasi madali sila mafool sa mga combination plays, kumakagat agad blockers sa fakes ng kalaban. After all, they've had a a very good season this year. Truly, height is not the limit.

What i love about NU this season is their improvement on defense. Last year i see they are still trying to adjust because of nierva going pro but this season everyone in the team was able to contribute on defense. Lovely season for the lady bulldogs. UST crowd had two goals here, support their team and to intimidate by overwhelming with ther chants and loud noise (disrespectful at some point) the NU Ladies. They failed to do both. UST overachieved this season and won crucial match ups with more luck. Poyos is not the same caliber as Belen or Canino to the dismay of the UST community, Tubu was even better if we compare explosiveness and Volleyball IQ during her rookie year. I compared Tubu and Poyos only because they both move like men on many occassions, mas si Poyos actually. Si UST sala sa init sala sa lamig, it's a bandwagon team na sobrang labo ng consistency as a team.

NU played a different level of volleyball in this game! But still, kuddos to UST. As a young team, malaki pa iimprove nito sa mga susunod na season. They need to strengthen their volleyball IQ kasi madali sila mafool sa mga combination plays, kumakagat agad blockers sa fakes ng kalaban. After all, they've had a a very good season this year. Truly, height is not the limit.
