When I first read this book back in 1998, I was only a few months away from my 12th birthday, so I didn't really understand what was going on, but as I got older, and read it again in my teens and early adulthood, I began appreciating The Krytos Trap a lot more. And now, it's one of my favorite Star Wars novels. I found that Rogue Squadron is the setup book while Wedge's Gamble, The Krytos Trap, and The Bacta War kind of form their own trilogy within the series.
Yeah, can definitely see the latter three being kinda their own trilogy. Really agree on how The Krytos Trap is a bit more of a mature read, definitely harder to get into with the side character focus too.
@@starwarslads Yeah but I feel like Star Wars does that so well. It can be mature, but not so mature that kids can't watch or read the material being presented. I do think The Krytos Trap does that pretty well.
