George Jones was one singer & entertainer that you could listen to him sing all day long from the tme you woke up to the time you went to bed and never get tired of hearing him sing or even want to hear a mix of different artists just listening to all his songs on his albums and you were completely satified , and even if you thought you couldn't sing you learned the lyrics and sang along anyways :)

He can put a song over the best of any of them, while some singers are trying to show what voice range they have George is singing to please the people listening

George put out an album in 1990 called "You Oughta Be Here With Me". It was his final studio album for Epic Records. This is the only time I'd ever seen him perform this song. The actual singles from the album were the upbeat "Six Foot Deep, Six Foot Down" and the album's opening song "Hell Stays Open All Night Long". George's 1990 album also features his recordings of "Ol' Red" (a hit for Blake Shelton) and "Somebody Always Paints the Wall" (a hit for Tracy Lawrence).
