😮 We celebrated both of them and we knew he was up next to be the main man. But like Bolt said he didn't listen after his injury. Coach gave him a plan and he said he wanted to go on another direction and since then he never healed properly. Something right now with Elaine she was told the something. Now she can't heal properly..

Bruce Golding was the one who showed Bolt the respect and give him all the honors. People was even saying that Bolt was too young for some of those titles

In any part of the world, you can only celebrate 1 champion 🏆. But celebrate many competitors who were great to be cherished and appreciated 👏 we know the process that they have to go through to get to the position that they are at. Sacrifice dedication hard work blood sweat and tears 😢 so I can't say that I agree to a degree. So, can Yohan appreciate the fruits of his labor. Don't get to your full protention because they within themselves by being hard headed and not listen. To great advice.

Jamaica's Sports Association need to change the narrative & celebrate and appreciate everyone of the athletes for their patriacism, hard work and efforts to compete: It's unfair to only appreciate the GOATS: Team work; makes the dream works;😊❤🎉

Some serious reasoning here. I wish the other people could just listen to the athletes and understand what they are saying. Too often we don’t seek to understand the athletes positions fully, before coming out combative and calling athletes ungrateful and a bag a names.

There is a popular saying which states don't bite the hands that feed you not sure what happened between himself and Glen Mills however he was never the same after his serious injury Yohan will always have his place in history

Yohan doesn’t like the talk where people are saying he should retire. He doesn’t understand the people just do not want to see him coming last and not the old Yohan and he is in his feelings. Yohan should have stayed with Mills when he got injured but told Mills he will do it his way because he doesn’t listen well. Mills nursed Usain when people didn’t realise he had scoliosis and got treatment for him. Yohan should realise Jamaicans do not want to see him embarrassed they feel it for him

What Yohan said about Jamaicans in general (we are not all inconsiderate) was pretty harsh and could've been said differently. I don't like seeing anyone coming last either. However, the problem is being disrespectful to our athletes when they do not win or fail to meet our expectations. Do not say, "You should've come first or you should've third and you let them beat you" when you know that you could not accomplish what Yohan or any of our other Olympian athletes did.

When they approach the sport their support system should tell them to treat it as a job and the glory that comes with it is just a side piece. Maybe that will lessen the disappointment of the fading glory. Just saying

Get a grip on reality!!! If you go to a track meet in any country in the world, you will find a large group of Jamaicans in the stands, darning the black, gold, and green colors of the country, shouting and routing for all the Jamaican runners. No other countries in the world pull as hard for their country's track and field athletes as Jamaicans. Jamaica loves their athletes..
    JAMAICA celebrates all her athletes.

Covid really threw off alot of the athletes, those who were in shape didn't get to compete and that caused timetable to get pushed back.

Camp had nothing to do with it. All men are not equally talented. Wanted to know how talented Bolt is, just look at the Beijing 100m how he just jogged a WR. Many countries with millions of people never won an Olympic or WC medal,Yohan has done better than those countries. He should not be throwing cold water on his remarkable achievements

What you are talking about the current hope of Jamaica (who their faith is in to bring in the goods)has nothing to do with a player claiming that Jamaica does not appreciate him. When Asafa was king, Bolt and Frater were appreciated. When Veronica was queen, shelly was appreciated. When Bolt was king, Yohan was appreciated. Now Yohan is coming up 8 all day and want people to waste time with that. It's completely DIFFERENT.

Have some sympathy for the guy 19.26 second fastest 200m athlete 9.69 joint second fastest time for the 100m. Any other time in tracks he would be the man. Bolt overshadow that. That injury came at the absolute wrong time. Was never the same athlete after that. A similar thing happen to juliet Cuthbert

There is only one champion at a time, so I don't get your perspective. However, Jamaica love and appreciate their athletes. Whenever there is a debate about athletic greatness, Blakes name is one of the first to be called. However, you cannot mix up the past and the present. Not because your name is Yohan Blake means that when you run and come 8, they will take the medal from the winner and give it to you and then everyone will cheer.
People don't have time to concentrate on a sport that is about the winner and pet the loser at the same time. Appreciate your own greatness, appreciate your own image, appreciate your own legacy. Plan your own legacy but don't blame others for how you market you. If you become a loser, you will be a loser at present. You can't use an old trophy to cover for a new victory. Yohan Blake is asking for too much from people that have enough pan dem brain...

He could have never bested usain. Dennis brown was one of jamaica's greatest singer but there was a man called bob so he didnt get to shine to the extent that he could have because there was a greater star. Its life. Canadians expect gold in every hockey event and r disappointed when it doesn't come to fruition. USA is basketball. Russia hockey. Anything other than gold is a failure. Kenya, Ethiopia...long distance. Anything less den gold is failure. Now jamaica is diversified. 400 hurdles, long jump and 400 but 200 and 100 m in track and field is main event and if jamaica and America r always expected to medal in either first or second in these event anything else is a failure. The bar is set high in these events for jamaica. Jamaicans will always expect first in these events. He should hav never called jamaica's name. Run in last plc all u want. Dont call jamaica's name.

Not true he is the only man to beat Usain twice in three days. Bob was better than Dennis but there were people like Alton Ellis, Jimmy Cliff and Bob Andy who were better than Bob. Bob only became famous after his song was sung by Eric Clapton. Bob who is half white was better received on the international stage If you disbelieve me check Jamaica Top Ten in that era.
