Is that supposed to be bad? US is always taking care of resources being available. But not really for themselves, right? They have all the oil and all the gas and all the minerals they need. So why is everyone so angry at US for trying to keep the world alive and blood pumping? A lot of people benefit from this US meddling - if they didn't insist on South China Sea belonging also to Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines (as per international law) - China would eat everyone alive.

The USSR proved it wasn't imperialist by using the most overused imperialist strategy in redrawing ethnic maps and stoking tension to keep your subjects loyal to you.

1. The deportation of peoples is a reality
2. Before the collapse, there were no conflicts on national grounds.

Red imperialism is different because it's left wing. Minorities are genocided because they're class traitors rather than the wrong race so it's fine 🙄

The only reason why the wars even started, was because of the USSR collapse. There was no problem redrawing borders because all of it was the same country anyway.

A key fact missed is that Armenia's "greatest protector" Russia is arming Azerbaijan too. And in 2018, Armenia underwent a mini revolution where the PM stepped down in favor of a much more pro-West guy (Pashinyan). It's widely believed that Russia is punishing Armenia for this decision. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan's gas agreement with the EU is a big deal, but otherwise their characterization as an EU ally is pretty inaccurate. Their largest supplier of weapons was Russia for decades, only recently starting to change as they import more from Israel and Turkey.
Unless I missed it, the video also doesn't mention how Azerbaijan's government is a dictatorship. Surely that has something to do with the wars.
Armenia is a case of "you don't bite the hand that gives you food". Russia was defending Armenia and they had a political revolution against Russia. They sold out Russia politically when she was of no use to them anymore. Without Russian assistance Armenia is hopeless. Now that Russia already has everything that she could possibly have from Armenia, she cares as little as possible especially after they were betrayed once by Armenians. Armenia will get worse and worse but again most people don't like traitors. Armenia sold out the US as well. When Azerbaijan was closing in they went back to Russia. They are part of Russia's military alliance against NATO. They go for shorm term interest rather than a loyal long term ally.
Notice it is the Armenian government and not the people of Armenia. The people of Armenia are human beings like anyone else. In fact they are the victims of their politicians like most people in many countries in the region.

Azerbeijan isn't attacking Armenia. Misleading headline on purpose. They are trying to get back their internationally recognized and occupied sovereign borders. Make your arguments based on facts, not on wishful games of perception building.
I literally haven't seen a single westoid video that accepts this basic fact. Nearly 1 million Azeris were kicked out of NK yet the commentary is always talking about "gEnOcIdE" like any other nation state wouldn't do anything possible to take back sovereign territory that its populace were massacred and kicked out of. Western content on this makes me sick.
Good One.

its not a one sided issue armenia is guilty of ethnic cleansing and kicking over a million plus azerbijians from armenia
Some facts were wrong. How could Armenians conflict with Azerbaijan go back centuries when Azerbaijan only existed since 1918 ? Before then that area was part of Russia, Iran, ottoman empire , Mongolia , Arabs, and Historic Armenian empire going back for more than 3000 years.

Azerbaijan was very democratic country back in 90s, and armenians attacked and occupied our lands. We have refugees over 1 millions, Armenia deserves punishment. They gonna be losers always, if they don't learn from history. Instead of being pawn of Russia, Iran and some other countries they must worry of their own tale.
Attacking newborn neighbour with the help of Russia and killing civilians must have proper response for the sake of future. Hopefully, they won't be silly in geopolitics anymore.. Why Georgia doesn have any problem with Azerbaijan, why Azerbaijan has many friends all around the world? Because, we respect others territorial integrity and want Peace, and good relationship with others! But, if you do not want peace and start fight, we will fight better.
'Azerbaijan existed since 1918'. Right. Then azerbaijanis were suddenly brought here by aliens and were given a state.
Just wonder why the world kept silence when Armenians killed Azerbaijanis and forced to leave their homes in 1992-1993? And Azerbaijan’s 20% territories occupied and destroyed by Armenians? They claimed “Karabakh was the territory of Armenia”, why they occupied seven regions around Karabakh? And all the countries recognized Karabakh as a part of Azerbaijan, even Armenia))) Armenia is a country that has a lots of problems with its neighbors, not only with Azerbaijan.
Because AZERBAIJAN STARTED IT WITH POGROMS AND ASSAULT/War!
because "another Ex-USSR country goes apeshit "wasn't a big sensational headline in 1992, especially with US-aligned Afghanistan plunging into civil war ended up hogging all the media cameras.
Because it was proved to be organised by your own president, cry about it.
If India will do that in Kashmir and force the Muslims to go to Pakistan, what will be response of the Muslim world?

Incredible to learn about this. I knew that there were political issues between this two countries but didn't know the details of those issues until now. Great video.
Just know that the real reason the Armenian genocide happen was cause they are Christians. The real fact
An important but overlooked detail. Pashinyan, the leader of Armenia, is a protege of Soros and continued to pursue the pro-Western policy of such predecessors as Saakashvili. The Armenian government feeds on grants from the US democracy support, supported anti-Russian sentiments with the help of funding pro-Western and anti-Russian youth organizations. In the long run, Armenia was going to betray Russia, to which it owes its existence, and withdraw from the union, as well as demand the withdrawal of Russian military bases. The escalation of the conflict in Karabakh has brought Armenia back from heaven to earth. But all the same, Pashinyan is constantly trying to push through a suicidal European anti-Russian policy for Armenia. US-funded youth movements continue to operate in Armenia, the US funds politicians, journalists and opinion leaders of Armenia to promote its anti-Russian goals, which at the same time are suicidal for Armenia. There are more in the US Embassy in Armenia than in any other country, although Armenia is very small. Pashinyan is trying to sit on two chairs.
Don't be fooled. There is no word in the video about the fact that in Armenia the protege of Soros is in the presidential chair. That is, a protege of the United States in the presidential chair and hundreds of different non-profit organizations acting on orders from the United States. Most Armenians talk about it without a drop of embarrassment 😁 The footage of a dozen runaway Russian liberals, who themselves are fed from the budgets of various American non-profit organizations, was especially amused. 🤣🤣🤣

@@kingace6186 nah, I reckon we're just going back to the status quo, historically speaking the world has been unimaginably peaceful in the years since ww2 and the west's hegemony like status is crumbling under our feet.
The way I see it is there is either dominance or conflict, and the playingfield is evening out, the third world is catching up and the west is fracturing and becoming decadent.
The west in some sense has been a decentralised benevolent empire relatively speaking.
I think the ukraine war is probably the best thing that has happened to the eu and nato as it has reminded us why we should work together and that the world isn't as idyllic as some like to imagine it is.
lol no these wars have been going on forever. you don't follow international events regularly in reputable newspapers? just watching nightly news covering sports and local issues?
@@hagalathekido The world hasn't been "umimaginably peaceful". Just in the 21st century alone US fueled foreign policy with Europe on its side waged several criminal wars that destroyed entire countries. There was a recent report that estimated 6 million deaths resulting from US's War on Terror mostly civilians. They sent Libya, previously the most prosperous nation in Africa, back to stone age because of daring to stand against Western hegemony and colonial nations like France are still exploiting and extracting wealth from Africa today while the US sponsor the genocide in Palestine by the apartheid state of Israel and the genocide in Yemen by Saudi Arabia.
It has been reported that decades long drone strikes in Afganistan killed 90% civilians and as Julian Assange said the whole point of the 20 year long invasion of Afganistan was to transfer tax payer money to elites in the military industrial complex. They literally had zero motive other than that to stay there for 20 years. And perhaps an even worse offender was the invasion of Iraq based on complete lies (weapons of mass destruction) to steal their oil.
Besides waging wars US also continues to crush the economies of many South and Central American socialist countries leading to poverty, hunger and death like in the case of Venezuela or just overthrows their elected leaders to install their brutal puppet dictators loyal to them like in Chile. Basically anyone that's the slightest threat to the empire is dealt with in horrible ways.
The world definitely hasn't been peaceful post WWII just because European nations stopped fighting each other and US stopped Japan by nuking them. Honestly the unipolar world after the collapse of Soviet Union has been a complete disaster (not saying Soviets would rule any better not the point). US had the chance to use its dominance post Cold War to at least try to establish a fair and just world order instead they used their power to exploit and destroy and make themselves rich and the unraveling of the unipolar world order isn't likely to lead to any benevolent power centers either. One might argue that humanity has never been more hopeless towards the future as today.

"Why are borders in the Middle East and Africa so conflicted?" - Because British.
"Why are borders in the former USSR so conflicted?" - Because Bolsheviks.
Both are because of capitalist actually, the Azeri Armenian border was peaceful until the end of socialism in the region (Wich wasn't backed by the population btw)
@@Tsuruchi_420 I as an Armenian hate Bolsheviks
@@Tsuruchi_420 that’s exactly the issue.
Similarly borders in the Middle East weren’t any big deal before the British left. It only started to matter after the left.
Why? Well, because in the case of Britain, Britain (and France) drew the border (the current borders) without any actual thing they would be based on (linguistical differences, religious differences, ethnic differences you get the point) so you had these borders cut through ethnic groups. When they all were under the umbrella of the British that didn’t matter but after they left, boy the conflict surged.
The Soviet case was also stunningly similar. There are issues with borders in Ukraine/Russia, in Central Asia, and in the Caucasus. When they were all under the Soviets that didn’t matter but when the Soviets fell, well you can guess what happens.

yea but they are missing facts and manipulating them, Azerbaijan has good relationship with Russia, and Russia helped the oil industry in Azerbaijan, that's the why Russia din't interfiere in the Azerbaijan-Armenian war. 19.9% total imports of azerbaijan are from russia and Lukoil a russian Oil and gas company owns 10% of that gas pipeline and they din't include it in the chart 7:11 so they are hiding information, shame. For every Cubic meter of gas selled from azerbaijan to europe Russia get money. Also 9:54 all Bariaktar drones have been destroyed in ukraine since months ago, they longer has no air force.

Yes, Stalin and Turkey did this purposefully. There was no enclaves or islands before. And before Tatar Turks filled in Armenians, Russians and Jews lived in Baku (Russian lands). Also note it was Armenians who first drilled the oil in Baku. Then massacres started in 1920 (part of Armenian Genocide by Turks).
