The funniest running joke in KH is Goofy being the smartest of the Trinity trio. 😂 Sora and Donald being like "Huh??????" when Goofy points out that Mulan is female. The part where Goofy just summarizes plans made by the Organization. Dude took a boulder to the head and still has more IQ points than those two combined. 😂 My second favorite part is also from KH2, where Sora just gets mad at the computer and decides to start punching it. My favorite moron.
That accidental Sora is awesome. I'm from germany and the original KH 1 and 2 had german voice acting and Sora's german VA is also a live action actor. Everytime I hear him just hear Sora. By the way his name is Constantin von Jascheroff and he is the son of Mario von Jascheroff who is Mickey Mouse's VA since 1999.
They really went hard on the Pixar worlds in KH3! A lot of the best moments were from those worlds since they didn't have to follow the movie (well I guess the Carribbean didn't either, but put Sora in his own side story unrelated until the end). They really made Woody and the Toy story crew so epic, they fit right into the KH mythos. Especially that tragic scene where Woody realizes he's not the real one because their Andy doesn't exist, but takes solice in the fact that somewhere out there, there's a real Woody and a Real Andy getting along and that's enough to make him happy. It was so meta, but so real.
The KH manga are what makes me laugh so much with the funny expressions on the characters' faces and hilarious moments that wasn't in the games themselves. So hilarious.
Copyright Issues. A lot of Songs are cut from the final product of Melody of Memory but the most notable one is "Face my Fears" possibly due to Skrillex. Square also lost the right to Jack Skellington. They almost got into a legal battle in Union Cross (main reason we never seen a higher tier 3 medal) and he wasn't a friend in Melody of Memory due to that fact. Upset about Deep Jungle still, no Chain or Melody appearance

I’m replaying the first game currently and totally forgot that Donald and Goofy leave Sora to follow Riku when he has the keyblade. Extra surprised to relearn that it was actually Goofy who takes a stance and says he’s going with Sora instead.
Something funny to me is how in KH1 Hundred Acre Woods the swing minigame.. like if you do it right Pooh just goes flying and them not animating the model at all just is hilarious because he just soars with no reaction and then toddles back in.. *and you can repeat it*
A fun side note with Goofy being knocked out, when he rejoins the party, his abilities are unlearned. (At least i recall seeing this in the Ps2 originals. I acnt remember if final mix cut that.)

I think the funniest and cutest part of the series were the ways the manga explained things that happened in the games, such as how Naminé in-universe knew how to use dark portals but didn’t in twilight town because she “wasn’t good at using them yet” and was stuck in a broom closet making friends with rats until Riku let her out.

I'm like "THAT'S WHY KH1 SORA IS MY GOAT!" He had so much whimsy and personality in the first game. and I'm at least glad we got to see more of that in KH3 "Hello! ISLAND SORA?" Shame they neutered Riku's personality to death...especially after how great he was in COM and Dream Drop Distance, but at least we got the infamous, "Aqua's just like Sora" Riku: "WHAT!???!" Mickey: "... I mean she's BRAVE like Sora!" Riku: "Oh thank god......"

One of the silliest moments of the series that I remember was when the Lingering Will attacked Terra in KH3, Charriii and his co-hosts had a panic attack at the sight of the hardest boss ever in Kingdom Hearts which was just funny.
I love how there is literally no explanation on why they suddenly killed Goofy. 😂 They literally made an entire scene dedicated to the death of Goofy, for no complete reason; other than to fuck with the players. It's hilarious. 😂

I found it funny in KHII when Sora tried to flirt with Tifa! Also I really hated how the only way to get the Dearly Beloved Swing Mix is to have the Switch Version of Melody of Memory. Mostly because I got the PS4 when it first came out before the announcement of the Switch port and Sora being in Smash...It really upset me a bit when they did that, because I wasn't going to buy a game again, and I don't know anyone who had the game.

ok so i think i can explain the disappearing panties; now i don't think the devs ever thought too hard about this, however in recent years japan's censors have gotten really weird about this stuff, to the point there are stories about them asking to see all female character models turned upside down to make absolutely sure you can't see their underwear. i remember this happened to the japanese version of smash 4, to the great annoyance of sakurai himself, questioning why they care so much about a piece of fabric. so in conclusion, this was probably removed either because of, or in preparation of the japanese ratings board.
In Brawl, you could see up the skirts of female characters and see their fully modeled panties. I was a growing boy back when Brawl released, you better believe I ogled Peach's frilly pink panties! ok so i think i can explain the disappearing panties; now i don't think the devs ever thought too hard about this, however in recent years japan's censors have gotten really weird about this stuff, to the point there are stories about them asking to see all female character models turned upside down to make absolutely sure you can't see their underwear.
i remember this happened to the japanese version of smash 4, to the great annoyance of sakurai himself, questioning why they care so much about a piece of fabric.
so in conclusion, this was probably removed either because of, or in preparation of the japanese ratings board.
In Brawl, you could see up the skirts of female characters and see their fully modeled panties. I was a growing boy back when Brawl released, you better believe I ogled Peach's frilly pink panties!
And tbf, Brawl was rated T in North America while later games were E10+. Not sure if the Japanese rating between Brawl and SSB4 similarly changed, but there ya go.

also no, the us age ratings genuinely didn't give a crap. only the japanese versions were censored, having to tighten up seams on some dresses and replacing all underwear with dark voids, these are however still completely unedited and fully visible in literally any other version of the game.
