Singer Pro Finish Cleaning and Timing Fix

My serger started making this clinky noise, I thought something was caught up in it, so I took it apart and found no foreign objects. What I did find was lots of lint, and threads. I cleaned it with q tips, oil it and adjusted the timing on it. Now it sounds brand new. I only paid $200 and I didn't want to spend $150 to repair it. It now runs like brand new.

Good video. I bought this machine brand new. The turn handle is jammed. Never used it...right out of box. Pressure foot just a humming noise. Any suggestions?

Unscrew the plate first and see if there is a broken needle. If this down not work it’s a malfunction return it

Same as my machine , the haa as d wheel is jammed, and the upper looper is heating the lower looper, it seems as if is completely out of timing

First I had to figure out what the timing was about. As I started to take it apart I was turning the wheel to see where the issue was and went from there

I am having trouble with the needle thread breaking. I have partially taken it apart and believe the lower looper is off.. The needle hits the lower looper... suggestions on how to fix this? I have several internal screws that I can not get loose

I have the same issue with lower looper hitting the needle. Did you get this figured out ?

I think I’m having the same issue. Seems my needles are rubbing against the black arm of the lower looper which is causing me threads to break. It’s also making a horrible clicking noise because of this. Anyone find a fix? I’m terrified to take all the housing parts off.
