Football cards! Now that has a nice ring to it! 😁 The '60 Topps set is fantastic. That Jim Brown looks great. The Frank Gifford, if I remember correctly, was the first vintage cards I ever got. Big Daddy Lipscomb was a beast. Gone way too soon, but so dominant. I loved this video, John!
Are you ready for some football (cards)? Nomellini, Marchetti, Atkins, etc. Great D linemen in this era. Bobby Layne! No one pursued a good time more effectively.
@@EdMonet vintage football cards sure are undervalued. But then I guess our stuff is only worth what people are willing to pay. For whatever reason people are will to pay $40,000 on a rookie who may never play 🤣
@@SconnieTradition I love so many but I’m partial to the 64 Philadelphia and 75 & 76 Topps. Also love the 58 and 59Topps sets and the old Bowman sets. All those Bowman sets are fabulous.
@@MrJmangini Awesome! I know its hard to pick. I'm really fond of the 50 Bowman set. Love the players and the simplicity of that set. 52 B of course, but still partial to the 50 set. 57 Topps and 63 Topps are favorites as well. Not so much the 70s bc the Packers were bad lol.
Thanks for sharing the cards and background stories, John. Beautiful card set.
Definitely like to look at some football cards. Thanks for sharing

Do you know what I like to do when Mangini is looking at football cards? I look at baseball cards!
Haha
Great video, John. Ernie Stautner was one of my Dads favorites. He used to be on a Miller Lite commercial back in the day.
Gave a video like. Thanks for sharing some football cards and stories, John
You’re killing me John! Those 1960 football cards are epic & on my target list as you know. The photography of the set is on another level

@SconnieTradition that’s why I love the 70’s cards. My Steelers! I was just going through my 79 set.
That's the pre super bowl set I'm closest to finishing. One more card.
Nice!
Great video!
Thanks Keegan
