    Nothing will happen. More soldiers will die until the government realizes that it has to urgently buy American or Israeli systems in the 11th hour.That is a story repeatedly happening in India. Remember after balkot strike our fighter pilot was captured by Pakistani soldiers while flying an antiquated plane against F 16s.DRDo se kuch nahi hoga

    Is it true that the Spike ATGM was tested in the Thar desert (can't recall the year) & its seeker failed to distinguish between the target & its surroundings because of the extreme temperatures?

    DRD0 is a white elephant 🐘
    While in Army I interaced with it for 10 years . They couldn't produce a standard RIFLE even. 5.56 mm INSAS rifle was good to kill birds .
    Pakistan army was using Hecklor & Koch German rifles. Thanks to PM Modi to bye 70 thousands SIGSAUR rifles from USA and start manufacturing AK 203 in India

Just remember on a tank their frontal and side armor is thick but the top is very thin to save on weight. The rear normally has engine and must have fents for exhausts. So they are very vulnerable to drone attacks.

      @HellBot-gi5si 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@stormbless373 Also, with drones you can track your enemy movements and call in artillery support from a fire base in area. Also, you can lay mines this is the biggest innovation. So let say the Chinese attack you and a mine blows up one their tanks. You sending in a drone and let drop a mine so that if the try to go around the exploded Chinese tank that tank will blow up too. The Ukrainians do this to the Russia all the time.

      Our space achievement has huge contribution from west and soviet union. Not saying we were not doing anything, we always have that ambition and initiative but severely lacking in any innovation in space technology. All our remarkable achievements are using existing technology and are coming from our long term decades old commitment, in that sense i expect more from ISRO. Also we are relatively good in launch vehicles, which are perishable equipments which will end up in ocean after few minutes of its assigned operation. When it comes to military or aviation, it needs reliable lasting sophisticated mechanical and electronic equipments. We are not good in these sophisticated technology field. Good example is that we are still struggling to build an indigenous jet propulsion engine.

    • @digitalcommunist6335
      @digitalcommunist6335 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      India has Spike. Some quantity. Version that is mounted on vehicle has better range is bigger than Javelin. Infantry atgm version ,Javelin is better as long as US provides same latest EFC they use for themselves. Other than that its up to preference. I think Javelins will go to mountain corps Spike will be integrated to Apaches like US/Israel does…

    • @maximumeffort966
      @maximumeffort966 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Similar systems, but spike has many variants with the LR variant having a rage of 25 km or so. Overall spike is a better system . The spike variant equalant to javelin is lighter. Both the missile have top attack and direct fire mode. But spike has larger foldable control surfaces which may provide it slightly better flight characteristics than javelin. But I believe it's better go for a locally developed system rather than a foreign one even of its not the best of the best. If it works and has a 90+% chance of getting target, it's better to opt for it. That might give the scientists and engineers chance to improve the system over the years in later variants. Just my opinion🙏🏼
