- This is one of the crazier house flips I have ever bought and it's quite creepy as well. The house even has an outdoor and indoor skatepark!

To me the basement looks like a teen lived/played in the basement, left/passed, and the adults just lived on upstairs, ignoring the mess.
Could be?
The house across the street from my brothers house was left to three brothers in their teens & 20’s after their parents died in a car crash. They turned the front & back yards into dirt bike trails.
Crazy
That's awesome.
Guarantee they put more work into having fun than Mark does to extract money from others so he can buy another car.
I half expected to see a shadow person walk by the door when he pointed the camera down the basement steps. Creepy place.
Those brass knuckles that you found are illegal in CO. I remember reading about someone being charged with possessing them telling a judge, that his were not illegal since his were made of aluminum instead of brass. The kids that lived there years ago that used the skate park probably all need replacement knees now.
I like the two tone brick and the front porch is nicer than usual, it will be nice once you get it scraped out.
Looks like unpermitted work was done with the bathrooms, etc. LOL! I think this place has great potential to be really cool. I can't wait to see what you do with it. "Interesting magazines I can't show." The basement and backyard were definitely a young man's haven. Walking through a new purchase with you is always fun :-)
Those builder grade kitchen cabinets are right out of the 1980s, so someone was trying to pull your leg. Why do I suspect Mom dumped the house after the son was sent away for 15 - 20?
The guys are not gonna enjoy busting up that concrete skate park in the basement and hauling it up the stairs! What a crazy property!
I know
Right! We made a 2nd bathroom in the basement of one of my properties and it sucked have to carry all the concrete upstairs.
Very interesting home and I'm really looking forward to seeing the clean up and then finished result. 🤗🤗
Hey, Mark....hv u ever thought about carrying a few pairs of latex gloves maybe in the glove box of the cars that u drive to house sites just in case you need hand coverings in one of these dirty houses? 🤔🥺
😂
One mans trash is a bonfires treasure
The orbs flying all around you tells me enough about this property! 😳
Wow that concrete thats all raised and shaped will be a job to do in the base ment. Once its all cleaned up then the renovation can begin.
I have a house in that area. I'd love those doors and closet doors. My house is missing 2 sets of closet doors and 1 bedroom door. They are identical. If you plan on replacing themm......omg!!!!!!!
Looks like Grandma lived there for decades, passed away, and the family gave the house to the BMX kid, that's going to be quite the gut and remodel. The BMX stuff looks like early/mid 2000's, which might explain why the 2003 listing photos don't show it.
But on the upside, free VCR!
I absolutely hate going through my own stuff. Cannot imagine going through other people's stuff. ugh lol
Right. 🤮
He was looking for valuables ! Bet he put that penny in his pocket !
@@tnolan3176 Hey have you heard what they say? See a penny pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck! That's why I pick up pennies!!
That's an interesting place, for sure!! It seems like the parents let a teenager have free fun of the basement, then just left it as is after they moved out.
Yes, a real estate video. Thanks
i love the brick work on the house!
This is going to be a good project! The brass knuckles / knife is a reproduction WWI fighting knife.
Can’t wait to see it all cleaned out
I had a stove just like that. It's a1974 vintage double oven treasure.
Hard to find an original blue print of the home should be like but it’s crazy one. Once you get the house clear out figure what is going on with the floor plan. Afterwards the house will be ready for a new family.
After watching this Mark and if I were Nicki or you - after leaving I would want to go home and change clothes in the garage - burn the clothes and then go take a very long hot shower involving stress testing the hot water heater and probably burning thru a full container of some type of anti-septic body wash - ughhhhh!!!! Can understand why Nicki really got the "creeps" from this one.
There was not so much a murder "room" in that house as much as a murder house or @ least murder basement!
We all know it will be awesome when done but hope you manage to make a decent profit out of it as well as whomever buys it later keeps it a decent home inside & outside for the long term.🙏
Interesting that you note that it has a fairly new furnace- btw, a very good make, imho, and you saw a condenser in the yard- and you assumed it had AC; the furnace in the basement has an "evaporator coil box" , which is fitted with an indoor AC (or evaporative) coil, but the copper pipe connections on that coil are not connected to anything in the clip. Also, the condenser outside is a different brand than the inside furnace and coil, as well as the high side being visible and not connected to anything. Again, it's a good make, but I suspect this isn't it's original setting. And the protective seals on the coil are open, leading me to be very cautious about reuse- even if it has never been used it will have copper oxide residues in it that aren't good for compressor longevity. But you got the "Crazy House for 2024" out of your system, so there is that. The bones look much better than the hoarder house, so I'll be expecting good things, but more hard work than planned! I'm not panning you for the AC- but it was set up in a way that it would only be apparent to a tradesman as it was presented. And just think, it will look so much better with your Lambo parked in front!
Can't wait to see what you're going to do with the place! You're right, it does have a creepy vibe to it 😅
My first thought: teenage son built himself that BMX park in the 90s, then passed away or had a falling out with the parents, so they just left it and never really went back down there again 😢
That bathroom tile is pretty cool lol
Going to be a great transformation.
lol stunning !!! You love a challenge mark !
Those kitchen cabients are 1980's.
So the hoarder house is still in 1 place of crazy houses you have bought and now this is the 2!! My oldest brother would have loved this backyard as a teenager!!
Gee more kitchen cabinets you can paint with your signature blue/gray paint !! Tear out the kitchen cabinets and put new ones in !
The basement and back yard of this house is what you would call, I don’t care cool parents.
Surprised Nikki didnt veto this. Another ton of cement to remove.
Right! This is going to be a HUGE project! And I just can’t believe that he had to pay $282K for the house in its current condition. That would be no more than $100K in my area.
Was that hallway space converted to a stack washer/dryer?? I’m sure you will get this all back to a more normal appearing house. Looking forward to the progress❣️
Nope!
Right! I would t touch that! 😑
That house is probably super haunted if it gave the creepy vibes to her. I do enjoy your videos. Hello from Michigan.
This one has the hoarder house vibes on a smaller scale. Creepy, weird, and trashy. Mark, you have me shaking my head again. And you always prove me wrong when I see the end result. The hoarder house went from a nightmare to a really comfortable and cozy home. Loved it!
Yeah I’m trying to figure out how he’s going to make the numbers work on this one. $282K seems high for a flipper house.
Would you rather 1 neighbor hoarding or 1 stranger hoarding property?
Hoarding is hoarding. People just look at it differently when the person hoarding is rich.
When you said creepy I'm thinking devil worshippers or something! All those drains could be pot growers! 😊✌🏾️
Main floor laundry with a stack set and over sized laundry sink
1:04 Nutone intercom straight out of the '70s.
It looks like they Grew Weed in the back Garage. Lots of Mold in the House. A Weird Basement for sure.
We're back to the homeless pants etc lol
The stuff in the basement is probably not as old as it seems. There was a poster for Dakota Roche in there. He because a pro bmxer in 2007 according to an internet search
see if freecycle is active in your area...rather than trash things you can post items for people to pick up for free that they ned
Actually that couch in the shed is not bad it has nice lines. A reupholsters job the couch would. Be very nice
It probably stinks bad though
Since it's legal, you should renovate the grow light aspect for the basement and the garage. Turn lemons into oranges so to speak...
Should be an easy clean up and flip. I like the two toned brick exterior. Id reconfigure that bathroom into one larger bathroom and turn the 'dining room' back into a bedroom.
Id probably also gut the basement and just leave the cement as is, let someone else deal with it.
Another great video. I can not wait to see your ideas on the remodel on the house after your guys clean out all the junk and trash. Keep the new crazy flip laundromat videos coming. I enjoy watching them !
How can they evuse the skate park in the basement..no height, no room for building any momentum...i just dont get it?
looks more like a bike park then skate. skate would have more concrete to skate on around the yeard.
All that stuff does have value. I would guess about $2000 is the value ... it would take to have someone haul it all off.
Oh true… going through somebody else’s rot is not really fun at all unless it’s a recent death or estate sale
Yikes
The shrubbery could definitely be cut down or at least trimmed.
Keep the skate parks!
Looks like that hall space was some kind of laundry or utility room.
Laundry rooms don't usually have exhaust fans.
what are you budgeting for trash out? $10K. $20K
Lots of people have definitely gotten high in that basement
Could it have been laundry hookups?
Wow I can’t believe you paid $282K for that house in that condition. It should have been like $100K. Your going to have to out a TON of work into that house. How are you going to make any profit with all that’s got to be done there. The neighbors are going to love you for cleaning up that property. It looks terrible 🤮
Kid that lived there is prob long dead. Sorry to be so blunt.
Not too bad just junk and concrete. I would fix the closet back into a bathroom and put a shower down in the basement.
The house is odd but not creepy.
I agree. But I guess to someone like Nikki, it would be creepy. I found it more dirty and unnecessarily filled, than creepy.
Pretty sure these folks must be related in some way to the folks that owned this previous to Mark's purchase:

I Built a Theme Park In My House! 😂🤣😅😆😄😃😀😁
haha
Sadly it looks like a home after someone pasted away and family left what they don’t need.
Wassup
You bought a punk rock house with a skatepark lol
yes!
