- Train skipping Massive Railway bridge has always been very exciting. The turbulent river below is a treat to eyes when the Train skips bridge . But in recent days when all LHB Trains have been upgraded to 130 kmph simultaneously some bridges which fall on the 130 kmph stretch also got upgraded.
Train skipping this massive bridge at full MPS is a dangerous site and st the same time very exciting.
Seen here is 12860 Geetanjali Express tormenting through the 600 m length Rupnarayan bridge at full MPS.

around 1997 Geetanjali wd take 32 hrs to reach Bombay from Calcutta (overnight) while Bombay mail wd take 36 hrs (2 nights) and Kurla 45 hrs ! Geetanjali was premium and punctual

Surprised that there is no speed limit on the bridge which is very old. Most old railway truss bridges have speed limits near 80 to max 100 km per hour. This train was doing near 130. Dangerous
Yes this bridge has a speed restriction on the up track but the reverse and down track is 130 kmph permitted... This gives me goosebumps everytime that not 100 not 110 but the train is speeding at 130 kmph dot 😍.. Thanks for watching😃

How can you calculate speed 130 kmph while actual speed of train to cross bridge is 65 to 80 kmph max
I have recorded the speed via FOIS GPS Train tracker where speed is recorded and this bridge which is 800 m long is 130 kmph permitted
Progress. However skipping means either missing or leaving the track or missing the track completely and jumping over it.

Yes it's risky and SER has done a wonderful job by making this bridge fit for 130 knph
The bridge looks new for sustaining higher speeds, maybe they have done upgrades recently on the bridge.
The bridge is very old almost 50 yrs recently it got many renovation for sustaining high speed trains
