At this point I think it's partly Baek's obsession and partly because it gets him a laugh and he just wants to keep telling that story. I mean, this man will do a lot to get a laugh from his members or any kind of audience.

The shower story started in knowing bros i think during ko ko bop era and ppl found it very funny. So i feel like he just wants to make them laugh and as i have observed, he likes it or should i say feels proud when ppl laugh at his jokes. May be hearing abt showering together may sound embarrassing for us but it seems very common in korean culture. All i can say is Baekhyun is a joyful person who wants the ppl around him to be happy as well.
