ok so this mysterious channel that keeps getting recommend is in like 3 different bands 'Prizes', 'Damper', and 'Forget it' - And i can't find them anywhere outside of this channel. ty waverly for the tunes! if i could find any of these songs on streaming or follow a social media account, i would!
DUDE RIGHT i went o research it as well, theres a PRIZES on spotify, theres also a Forget it. , and a Damper On Spotify as well but not sure if its them
@@tifftuff6705 so we were only a band for like 3 months over summer but for the most part, most of these songs are just a bunch of my Instagram riff videos glued together. You can search @wearelucid or @prizesband. Thinking of getting it up and running again though
Could listen to this without end. Such great energy, and watching a live recording of it just adds to the experience. Currently on a 2-day roll blasting this in my ears.
I love DIY shows like this. Like i feel like this is the same basement that me and my fellow bandmates played in. I keep thinking "did we play with them sometime?'" So gooood.
I wish you guys had some good recordings to hear what's actually going on as a whole. It sounds great, but would be so much better if the drums were mic'd up and we could hear more of what the guitarists is actually doing. Seeing him would be a plus!
@@spoonermcgee TSY is probably in my top 5 fav albums of all time. I remember picking that up as a teenager at a local record shop and being blown away and at raw passion they pushed out. Honestly I tried to get into their newer stuff with that new singer and I couldn’t do it. This band really captures that Midwest post hardcore sound. I hope to hear more from them too!
@@Sailor1010 Did you check out their come back album from 2018? It captures some of that old magic at times for sure :D. Search "Hopesfall Arbiter full album" if you havent!
@@waverlycook oh nice, thanks for the answer I guess it was just an illusion from the recording then? It's been a year since I made this comment, and tbh I can tell now, that it's probably just the guitar sounding a little muffled, which sounded to me like bass back then, but it's definitely a guitar now. I have no idea if it's the new information, or if my hearing changed. Still nice to listen to though, well done ^^

Excellent music, thank you for sharing!
It's rough around the edges but that's what makes it good. Because how to you strive if you aren't pushing yourself?

Just trust me.
muy buenoo

Anywhere I can find your music?
Their band is called PRIZES I believe
All I could find was an Instagram account @prizesband I think it was.
Sounds great!
Hopesfall fan? There are some remnants of The Satellite Years in here.

Yeah, where are you from? Are you releasing anything? Playing more shows?
From the Bay Area! Currently about to release music from 3 different projects this year :)
You sound amazing guys
Is it just me or are the drums always ever so slightly behind the beat? Perhaps it's intentional?
I think it’s just you greggy
I actually feel that in this dynamic I was more often ahead of the beat but this can be confusing!
Love to hear it
Where's the bass, I can hear it but can't see it xD
