Hope you're enjoying the video! There have been some updates since I recorded it. Wow! The HD Fix feature is now called Upscale and the Remix button is now in the setting toolbar instead of being a button at the bottom of the screen. There is also a new Inpaint feature too! There may be more updates to come, but this video should still get you by! Have fun!
So I'm using this and I must say it blows the others out of the water, at least for what I do (character portraits for NPCs in my D&D game). I've using Playground but it doesn't exist anymore. I've tried Leonardo and CGDream. The first is good enough for most stuff, the second just... isn't. But this one, man... The detail, the level of prompt adherence, the quality of the pictures. And all of that completely free? Which leads me to my question: How the hell is it free? I'm wondering we're training a model for later sale, or they're testing the waters before bringing in a premium feature. Which I will pay when it happens, no doubt.
Yeah you bring up a good point. However, I haven't heard anything from my contact at PicLumen about those scenarios. However, who knows nowadays. Either way, this is a great image generator for free!
Nice video! Is there a tool where I can use an image reference and place my character inside it? For example, I want to take a real image of Copacabana and have my character walk on the famous pavement.
Thanks! I would use Photoshop Beta. You can import images of characters and then use the "generative fill" tool and place that character in any setting you want.
Maybe because I’m using a phone to generate (X) but I can’t create consistent characters. I see the seed box but there’s no where to add a numerical value 😢 Also, can we not see nsfw content? Some of the images generated uploaded with a “nsfw” banner, but no way for me to view them. Can only delete the censored blurred photo
Thanks so much for watching! I honestly have no idea about the nsfw material. You can try contacting their support or reaching out via X x.com/PicLumen As for the seed, you can change it in the prompt box by clicking that settings icon in the upper right corner of the text box. That opens the additional settings where you can add the seed number manually. Hope that helps and thanks again!
Wow! They already made an update to the interface! It looks like Upscale is now HD Fix and the remix button is no longer at the bottom of the settings. It's now in the toolbar with the other editing options. Thanks for letting me know!
It’s definitely more for the painterly/illustration crowd. Can’t get anything realistic out of it at all. I can get something closer to photo real stock photography with Leonardo. Unfortunately, those features of Leonardo aren’t free.
Hi! Thanks for watching! I was able to get some pretty good "realistic" results when I generated images of humans. Try experimenting with different prompts and try to get specific. I'm a huge fan of PicLumen and Leonardo. :)
Thanks for watching! PicLumen AI is free likely because it’s in the early stages of development or funded by a company seeking to attract users. Whether it stays free depends on their business model. Many tools eventually introduce premium plans or usage limits.

Hi Ben, a massive achievement on your part with the explanation. Greatly appreciated. Will be checking on your other videos as well.
Awesome, thank you! I really appreciate it. Thanks for watching!
Great tutorial! PicLumen seems to be under heavy development. Like you, I can't believe this program is truly free!
I know, right? :)
Thank you for sharing
You're welcome! Glad you found it helpful.
Hi Ben, I really appreciate your videos. Very well explained. Thank you!

Please anyone info

Think they removed the HD fix. I don't have it on my images.

What about Multiple Consistent Characters?
Doesn't exist yet. It is just a luck if you have same multi consistency on many images
@@Lafleurk oh wow. Thanks!
As far as I know we don't have the ability to do that yet. Great idea though! One day!
@@blogwithbeni discover that with Midjourney it is possible

but how is it free ? why ? will it stay free in future ?

is it totally free ,,,,, or some credit they are giving ??????????
Hi! Thanks for watching. Yep, it's totally free.
It is new and totally free. So enjoy before it is going pay 😂
Trust me like every other image generator PicLumen also will become paid or with free limitation.
Well it's free now! Why not take advantage of it. :)
@@blogwithben By the way I accidentally delete my account how to recover it I don’t see option to write email to the PicLumen support😅
Too slow on Android phone.
Thanks for watching! It usually take a couple of minutes to generate images due to the amount of requests. Just FYI.
