what sort of laptop would be needed for a good SDR setup? A basic one or a more advanced one? Maybe you could cover that in this series, covering the kind of processing power needed & ram & HDD capacity. Esp when recording chunks of spectrum.
Good questions! I will fit in some discussion of that topic. For now, I'd say most laptops 8GB of RAM will work fine. A GPU and SSD disk are beneficial but not mandatory. One PC tip, look up Windows "Game Mode" and make sure it is turned off!
