It's almost overwhelming how many of these tools there are now. In the last month alone, I have gone from Bolt to Windsurf with Supabase to Codux..whilst evaluating others...But this looks like the one for me as it has a database and everything built in. Great video. Thank you.
I've made a few things using RA, and the ai functionality was the easiest. When it gets stuck I roll it back and figure out a new way to ask. Go to your preferred LLM that you should ALREADY be consulting and say: "I want (describe feature). What all does that entail? Describe the feature in terms my developer can understand. Do not include instructions on specific platforms to use, or coding languages, or anything too technical." A lot of times you'll learn that there's a vital step, or multiple steps, that are necessary for your feature. Without doing those first you're asking RA to do too much all at once.
Good to see not technical people getting into their ideas to this level and on their own using IA. Still this isn't a SaaS software arquitecture as title suggests :D Hugs from México 😅🙂
This was interesting. Good job. But: 1. The video cover is misleading, the screenshot of a dashboard isn't related to the app you actually built. 2. It took you much more than 10 minutes, actually, we can only guess how much. You even changed your outfit several times, lol. 3. This isn't a SaaS, it's just a feed aggregator with a note editor (which is cool anyway, but it's very far from a "system as a service" that can be sold for money).
@@BrockMesarich Yes, this will be great. From plenty of the ecom opportunities AI resonate the best for me. Lot of creative work and it is future. I am just little bit struggling to which AI corner to focus. I woudl like to end up with SaaS for personal or business needs to safe time and expenses in the routine activities. Thank you for promoting AI tools Brock!
There's a VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION tho... DO THEY HOLD YOUR CODE HOSTAGE? Or are you FORCED to pay them for ever like all the other shady "easy build" platforms??
Hey Brock , very good video ! I was wondering if I can help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and make Highly Engaging Thumbnails which will help your videos to get more views and engagement . Please let me know what do you think ?
Very true! I was thinking about this when I finished it. Was thinking of something that would actually be helpful and it’s what I came up with. VERY simple idea but gives me an idea of the capabilities with building a SaaS with API access
you cant really build a SaaS with replit or any "no code" tool a the title suggest all of these videos are just click bait, you can build an MVP (minimal viable product) and thats great, but from this to real production and customers you cant do it with no prior development experience.
@@BrockMesarich It is a static portfolio web site with microblog page (the "notes"). To be SaaS (software as a service) it would need to be usable by third parties (customers), such as to post their own galleries or notes. Usually part of the definition of a SaaS is that there is also a fee, so the SaaS customers are paying the site owner to have access to the software (the web app). (edit: I didn't realize you were the guy who made the video at first - yeah hey it's great that you make content at all, thanks for that, I just thought it was odd to mislabel the video, since the reason I clicked on the video was the presence of the SaaS keyword, which would indicate a business web app was being designed. As the video progressed I realized it was just a single user web page I made my comment and clicked off elsewhere. Keep going though!)
why you are making your presentation faster and which serves no value to those who are seeing your videos Why don't you make it slower and explain the things clearer Is there any flights you are trying to catch Make it value to those who are visiting your channel Good luck

No I don't have money
@Signal-e6q dang
Not being technical is not an excuse anymore, great vid Brock
This is so true. Sky is the limit if you have an idea
As a long time developer it is great to see how someone who cannot code can use a tool like this to make their idea a reality!
It has been a fun experience! Excited for these platforms to mature!

This is a phenomenal idea and I am definitely going to use this!
Love that you've gotten into replit, pushed me over the edge to dive in as well - dope stuff! 🔥
Such an awesome tool! Thanks for tuning in Taha

Amazing vid :) would love to see a vid adding more on this app! Adding payment plans to the freemium model, exporting it to a site etc.
great idea, i will plan on doing this along with much more Replit Agent content
That's awesome! Thanks for the video!
Let me know if you build something cool!
Dude this is insane keep it up
💪🏼
Did you have to pay for any outside software to use the agent
You do have to play for Replit which is about $25 / month for the core plan
welcome to the Replit army 🦾
Gonna take you over 💪🏼

Nice video man, I'll give that a try!
It’s great coming from a non technical background!
Wish I knew what those prompts you used said
If you pause the video you should be able to see on the right hand side the prompts that were used
Nice video, do you think that you could add a feature where an AI learns from your post and suggests new content ideas?
I definitely think this is possible! Maybe I should make a follow up video and implement that feature 👀
@@BrockMesarich looking forward to it

thats perfect ill pay for a software like that man
Let me know how you like it!
Love it dude!
Glad you enjoy it!
Phenomenal. Thank you so much!
Glad you liked it!
Shout out to the Liam Ottley crowd!

Hi, this looks great. I did not catch how to monetize such a app.
I did not touch on that in this video. That may be in a future one

There's a VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION tho... DO THEY HOLD YOUR CODE HOSTAGE? Or are you FORCED to pay them for ever like all the other shady "easy build" platforms??
This is a great question honestly! I think it is great for building an MVP. Not sure about a full application
They do give the code. But to make this a fullstack app, it needs database and authentication which is hard to implement
Makes sense. That is why this is great to build an MVP, maybe not an entirely developed and launched product
Do we don't need developers, do we?
Developers are still valued. Just makes it easy to make a simple application or to teach a beginner how to code

I’ve seen people do it
So I have I, but your right. It has way to much issues
Supposedly, Magic School did and raised 20 million

this is not SaaS.
what is it then?

Maybe you should also learn what SasS is.... because the prompt you provided is NOT a SaaS...

Some people don’t have the time to sit through a 30 min video. I want to make it accessible to more people
haha
I’m glad that you find it entertaining
You sound too hype which make you sound fake like an ad. Be you.
Interesting
talk about lying LUL

@@BrockMesarichyou didn’t do it in 10 minutes, at least 2-3 hours
@@BEE1-Studio How would you know?
@@BrockMesarich I use Replit, that shit resets the UI after every prompt 😂 no way anything is getting done in 10 minutes.
@BEE1-Studio must have something to do with your prompts
