Sauropods do show evidence of air sacs, which has been argued as a way they used to increase their volume and size, without having to increase their mass as compared to mammals as they evolved larger.
Yes, but not in the way Gemma was thinking of. The bones of sauropods were pneumatised, which means that instead of having solid structured bones like mammals (think of massive elephant bones), there were spaces between the vertebrae that were filled with air sacks. So it helped the animal attain a larger size since their internal support was lighter. Gemma however is thinking of the speculative feature in one of the Prehistoric Planet sauropods, that proposed male individuals would pump out these air sacs throughout their neck for display functions. There is zero hard evidence for this, and debatably one of the less interesting speculations in the series
I'm so glad to hear they are looking at guests leaving/arriving quicker! Ive had barely any ticket sales in my new park and the same couple hundred guests would just stay forever 😂 upkeep costs are also so high right now! Thank you for the video I wouldve missed these new without it!! ❤
This next Prehistoric Kingdom update Idea will be an interesting one, for this update, I would add a new type of generator, I wouldn’t add much, but for new species, I would add two species of Mastodon, Aenocyon dirus (also known as Dire Wolf) and Megaloceras.
I just bought this game the other day in the steam sale. I'm excited to try it but kinda waiting till the campaign is back as I started it up and was immediately overwhelmed lol esp coming from hundreds of hours of planet zoo knowing the controls and ins and outs.
@MrsTeaRex thank you! I just need to work out how to get started and the mechanics. im going to watch your videos and maybe try find some beginner tip videos. I stumbled across your channel thanks to planet zoo love your videos and that your from the UK too.
If you check out the Trello roadmap and look back at earlier dev diaries, they have talked about their plans for interspecies behaviours like hunting and fighting. Nonetheless they have expressed in their Discord server that their goal for this game is to be a park simulator, not an ecosystem simulator. So the balance and animal statistics will be geared towards that in a way that will not satisfy what some players hope to see. Manage your expectations!
Sorry about the crackle sound from my mic. I hope it's not too annoying!
i love how transparent the devs are with updates! its a great way to build a community around a game 🤩
This is easily the best design of the Brontosaurus I've ever seen. It's nice to see the classic sauropod making an appearance in games again.

Any chance you might showcase Nigel's new dialogue for species like Leaellynasaura, Tarbosaurus, and Charonosaurus?
Yeh I have them to do this week! Keep a eye out 👀💚

Awesome!
Work areas would be great and staff only walking on paths and not all over the place. And more staff rooms
That would be fun for the challenge mode! Even if I don't have the specific DNA of those species
This continues to become Prehistoric Planet Zoo and I support it
Trading or bartering animals will be awesome

If you need any help at all please let me know 😁

The things on the bro to neck are keratin not air sacs
I knew I was getting somthing mixed up
Excited about the ankylosaurus. I wish they would include Stegosaurus soon.
Stego soon I hope 🤞
Just like what planet zoo has a legal animal trade, but with prehistoric animals.
Hopefully a good AI behavior so I can make a safari open area sanctuary park

the animals are still being made with an ecosystem idea in mind. animals in zoos usually don’t have herds and what not, which PK is planning to add.
