i drop these bombs often in a circle motion around dropping spot, that way you can land all bombs directly on a tank and kill it instantly. Takes a lot of practice, but its worth it.
Ah yes, I remembered one piece of advice I learned from all those air superiority matches. When facing another heli head on and you're both trying to gain height advantage, aim for their rotor. It's a much better target than the cockpit.
@10:53 I like the risk! @15:25 Bet some poor guy like 325m away got an "assist bonus" out of no where instead of a kill LOL. Don't forget that you can shoot your primary weapon while the TOW is en route. And I'd turn on the damage number indicator unless it's just a preference. Another pro tip is don't be afraid to switch to the gunner seat (if you're solo, of course) in a clutch moment against, say, a nightbird. It doesn't work very often but when it does, OH BOY do you feel badass. Or sometimes I'll be cheeky and get infantry with it while I'm forced to be in stealth (lock-on aggro). If you line up your bombs a little more, you can 1-shot Wildcats (only relevant when they don't know you're coming really but still good to know). Sometimes I also bomb the opposite direction with the stealth in a pinch (tail-down instead of nose-down). I'm only saying these things because you asked for feedback. It feels rude though. Fantastic video and great tips man! You're good at making videos. I bet this channel will take off in no time.

I'll have to look up how to turn that on! I've always just kinda used the Force to feel out how effective something is. Some great tips man! One thing that this made me want to check is the Attack chopper TOW vs. the Stealth TOW. The attack chopper TOW is a beast, and with it and a few rockets, I can usually solo a wildcat before it has a good chance to react. It does a lot more damage than what was shown here with the stealth TOW. 3:45 surprised the hell out of me, I thought for certain that would have been a kill.

@@timelessgamer_UK haha, it seems you also agree yes. With a gunner, you can evaporate any ground veichle within seconds with almost no warning, as I'm sure you know lol. I haven't watched your video yet, but you said the community is reviewing the attack helicopter's lack luster performance? Do you know if anything ever came of that? I absolutely love the attack choppers and would love if they would buff them in some way. Do you know if Dice is planning to do anything like that?
I’ve got no insider knowledge I just saw the post and gave my feedback to the Consultation they did with the community (everyone, open feedback). To my knowledge no results yet announced. Standing by!
So I haven't been able to get definitive evidence of this but you're exhibiting a habit I'm trying to break, which is to start dropping directly on them and continuing to speedily move forward after triggering the drop. I THINK that makes at least a couple of bombs miss a direct hit which is why you frequently get disappointing damage. I'm trying to do more momentary stable drops where for the a good chunk of the drop time, I'm adopting a stable falling leave-like movement where I'm not pushing in any direction. It's not as active a maneuver but I feel I get bigger booms from it. But again, I don't have definitive proof of either.
Ok so in essence the question is: am I moving too fast over the target and therefore missing some bombs hitting directly. I do try to lead my shot so the bombs fall where intended but with all the moving pieces (my angle, their movement etc) I can get it wrong for sure. I think the theory of what I’m doing is sound, even if I get the execution wrong. If I’ve understood correctly what you’re saying, it sounds like you may be moving slowly… that’s risky. Do you have a video you can link of you / someone doing it?
Re: TOW missile. I don't know if they've changed it, but IMO the damage is probably spot on because the TOW essentially bypasses the target's ability to be warned of an oncoming missile. Does that make sense? So anyone who's even half decent with the TOW can absolutely dominate, which would throw off balance.
I completely get it, and I articulated this point better on my Apache videos you’re absolutely correct. A TOW is silent death, even more so now all helicopters have two AND an aim assist. All I asked for was a little extra impact, but Dice gave me two and aim assist 😂 It’s too much, really!!
Yeah it’s getting old isn’t it - it happened in my Apache vid too, you can see a month later I’m not finding it funny anymore! I missed a few shots because of that.
I’m glad it helped - it’s a little out of date as there’s now 2 TOW missiles but that’s not a big enough change to justify redoing it. If you like Helis and are new, check out the Attack Helicopter vids too, they might help you out
@timelessgamer4359 I definitely will honestly your videos are an amazing help I'm still very new to the hole battlefield structure it's self this is the first battlefield I've played and I love the complexity of it but it's been a ruff learning process
Hey nice vid! Do you prefer the heavy choppers (Apache) or the Stealth? I have a feeling the heavy is more aggressive, but I barely know how to pilot them effectively.
Check out the second to last vid I did on Season 7 Helis! I prefer Attack Helis if I have a friend with me, Stealth if I’m solo. I’ll always go after vehicles whichever I pick. Enjoy!
its actually possible to hit all 4 bombs onto a single target, making it possible to insta kill a full hp tank. Although for me its only doable if the tank is standing still
I won’t deny it - but I’ve never once done it! The best I’ve ever been able to pull off is one-shotting a Wildcat. Others have told me this can be done, I absolutely believe it. If ever I do it will definitely make a short!
@@timelessgamer_UK you kinda have to to a nosedive onto the tank, during which you unload all 4 bombs. Takes some practice but im sure youll do it at some point
Another thing I'm noticing you do, which let me be clear I'm not sure is actually a bad thing, is that when you flare you tend to dodge around a building to go into stealth. It's been bugging me cuz in those same scenarios where they have reduced health, I'd switch into stealth WHILE flaring so I can do a drop on them BEFORE retreating to safety to reassess the situation. I wonder, can I friend you and share clips of my runs with you?
Ah no no I don’t think that was the heli - I was being SOFLAM’ed by someone and a tank fired the missile pod at me. At least I think that’s what that was!
I am having trouble using this thing compared to the attack helicopters. I don't have flares, though. I don't see them on the vehicle equipment page either. Did they remove flares recently?
So the Stealth Helicopters are no longer allowed flares and repairs, you have to choose one or the other. The Stealth Heli is a different style of play, especially in 64 player maps. It’s a lot more dangerous to fight a nightbird in a stealth. The Stealth Helicopter relies on hit and run tactics - and being out of stealth only as long as necessary to get a kill. It’s also by far the worst for air to air fights. They play very differently, so I am not surprised at all you’re feeling the pain if you started with the Attack Helis. I had the same problem just the other way around. Keep at it / play around, you’ll get it.
@timelessgamer4359 thanks, man. Yeah I've been slowly getting more comfortable with it. I wasn't using my stealth mode enough before. The handling of the stealth heli feels unnatural to me, but turning off assisted flight helped A LOT with controlling it. Thanks for the good advice!
Please compare and contrast the two stealth helis. I think there's a clear better one but I'm curious what you see are the advantages and disadvantages of each.
How do you mean? In terms of the actual vehicles themselves, I consider them to be identical less a different skin? Have I missed something? Or are you referring to the load outs you can pick (set A with the TOW vs set B with the AGMs)?
@@timelessgamer_UKthe hannibal is much less maneuverable than the huron. once you’ve spent hours and hours pushing them to their limits trying to avoid lissiles and get around cover, the hannibal feels like flying a buick
@@nathanzacharias3580 Honestly I never knew that -- I've got 1,100 kills on each & am fairly competent with them (hopefully the vid proved that), but I never once felt one was outperforming the other. I'm going to go into single player mode and test this out, thanks for the tip!
@@timelessgamer_UK the best way to feel it is to turn off assisted flight (assuming you do that already) and try to start doing hard maneuvers. like, if you’re flying forward with the nose down, try turning hard to the left or right and fly back in the direction you came. the huron should feel like you’re making a more pinpoint turn. the hannibal is much less “sharp”
I believe it - others have told me the same. Didn’t know it was possible at the time of making the vid, and despite my best efforts I’m yet to pull it off. I’ll keep trying. Hope I can catch it one day for a future vid.
It's good no doubt, but personally -- I favour the accuracy. I found that just being able to land a single hit can interrupt Repair & tip things in my favour. Sure I lose any impact against ground targets, but that's rarely what gets me. It's nearly always a NB that takes me out in the end.
OK so, when you're flying along in stealth mode & the bombs are ready, you will see a small circle appear underneath your helicopter (you need to be either close enough to the ground OR having your nose pointing down far enough to see it). That's where they'll fall. If you're flying first person view, look for the same little circle & you can use Zoom to see underneath your heli. Hope that helps.

I completely get it, and I articulated this point better on my Apache videos you’re absolutely correct. A TOW is silent death, even more so now all helicopters have two AND an aim assist. All I asked for was a little extra impact, but Dice gave me two and aim assist 😂
It’s too much, really!!
Bro. People spawning in my vehicle and take a fat 💩 on my line of sight is too common an occurrence. I hope they fix that bs soon.
Yeah it’s getting old isn’t it - it happened in my Apache vid too, you can see a month later I’m not finding it funny anymore! I missed a few shots because of that.
Very good guide, Thank you!
Thanks - glad you enjoyed it!
I'm a total nood with the stealth that was a really good video bro!!
This is my first BF too, I'm glad these vids are helping people out!@@tonyschmood8587
You have a easy to stand personality
I’ll take that as a win - thanks!
sick video
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Check out the latest Apache one too if you’re interested, I underrated that heli badly. Thanks again
Yeah of course please do - would love to see them. Add me!
Bro at 10:03 the hell were you being shot by like 7 missiles came at you 😨
Ah no no I don’t think that was the heli - I was being SOFLAM’ed by someone and a tank fired the missile pod at me.
Thanks for this
Glad you found it useful o/
you can actually insta kill a full health tank if you direct hit all 4 bombs
I believe it - others have told me the same. Didn’t know it was possible at the time of making the vid, and despite my best efforts I’m yet to pull it off. I’ll keep trying. Hope I can catch it one day for a future vid.
I prefer the 30mm because of that extra firepower
It's good no doubt, but personally -- I favour the accuracy. I found that just being able to land a single hit can interrupt Repair & tip things in my favour. Sure I lose any impact against ground targets, but that's rarely what gets me. It's nearly always a NB that takes me out in the end.
How do you aim with the cluster bombs?
OK so, when you're flying along in stealth mode & the bombs are ready, you will see a small circle appear underneath your helicopter (you need to be either close enough to the ground OR having your nose pointing down far enough to see it). That's where they'll fall. If you're flying first person view, look for the same little circle & you can use Zoom to see underneath your heli. Hope that helps.
@@timelessgamer_UK cheers mate, been racking up some kills with it now ;)
That’s what we like - have fun with it
Good shit
Thx man - appreciated
sadly having a good helicopter run relies almost entirely on your team having superior jets
Or the jets on the other team not being up to the task - either works. But I get your point, any heli being dive bombed from a jet is done.
