It's a relief that you can play bass on both. Worth the price of admission to know that! 😂

Gentlemen I just found you and I am impressed with your knowledge and understanding of basses. I am beginning to understand the notes on the bass and have a couple of guitars but now trying to learn how to pluck and fret the strings. I am very interested and thank you for sharing your experience and expertise!!!

A nice, honest review with the perfect amount of comedy. keep it up, that was great.
Also, before you change the pickups try putting strings on because the stock strings might be the problem.

Hey thanks man... also abt the strings they weren't stock but they also weren't new for either bass, could have scewed the sound in the squires favor... we'll have to control some more variables on these demos moving forward. but glad you enjoyed the vid my man

Not only do they give you a rosewood neck at this price but also an alder body. Can’t beat that for $300 ish bucks.

I have a chance to buy a used BB434 for the same price as a new BB234, so I think I'm going to go that route. I was just looking for a backup bass to my Sterling StingRay 34PB. But if I can get a nice BB on the cheap I can't say no!
Also, depending on the sound of the pups, I'm thinking of putting my Seymour Duncan Quarter Punders in it.

Used definitely sounds like the way to go in this case.

@CentralHubEmporium I actually just bought it this morning over the phone. I didn't get my choice of colour, but the colour is still fine. And it's still priced as a beginner bass and should play like a solid gigging bass. I like that it has alnico pups and 6 bolts in the neck. It's supposed to help with sustain. Still a great back-up to the Stingray.
