Excellent videos. Always nice to see a vendor go beyond to show how their product with not only the popular bikes KTM 690 / 701, but also with luggage etc. Keep the videos coming. Thanks. Kam
Perun, great products, even greater company... let's support these small businesses throughout the world in these diffacult time... best of luck, your loyal fans are rooting for you
2008-2018 bikes and 2019+ bikes have different tail sections, so position of the bags relative to the silencer is different. Use of heat shield is still advisable on 2019+ bikes and necessary on 2008-2018 bikes.
Not sure, as a seat locking pin is somewhere in the rear area. Maybe with some mods. But it takes 15 seconds to loosen upper straps enough to lift the bags a little, and pull out the seat.
@@Perunmoto do you think it would be possible to make a hole for the seating pin in the kriega base, professionally of course, and then it would fit without bulging the seat? How thick is the kriega base?
@@osal4323 The fit of the bags is much better without handlebars, so I suggest removing them. And you can strap Kriega rear haul loop to the rack, if you need something to grab to.
Some caution is needed even with an aftermarket silencer. But mounted like this, bags cannot make a direct contact with the silencer. With the stock silencer, make sure you still have the rubber bumper that is located between the silencer and the plastics - it keeps the plastics from resting directly on the silencer.

Glad you found it helpful! Regards from Belgrade!
Hi, am about to purchase a combo for my 2018 690 with Wings exhaust fitted. Is a heat shield necessary, notice you haven't fitted in the demo..

Nice music. Good content. Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Which kriega kit is this exactly? The dirt bike one?
Thanks, happy trails
Probably worth a mention that this base isn't the 701/690 specific base
Absolutely. At the time this video was created dedicated 690/701 OS base didn't exist. So this is Kriega's "universal" OS-base.
Is it possible to have the kriega harness slightly under the seat? I have an extra tank under the seat I'd like to be able to fill easily

@Hans O. yes, it seems to me that something like that may be possible. 👍

Hi what size capacity are these bags? Thanks
18 liters per side.
Why does no one show opening the bag and inside the bag.
You expecting to find narnia in there or something?
That it´s a burnning pannier with original exhaust😃

Use a bit of modern tech, I’m not sure you’ve heard of it before, but it’s called a “heat shield”😂
