2 - द्वितीय मध्य काल के कुछ आचार्यों जैसे सायण, महीधर आदि का यज्ञों में पशुबलि का समर्थन करना,
3 - तीसरा मांस भक्षण करनेवाले (कुछ समुदायों आदि द्वारा ) माँस भक्षण के समर्थन में वेदों की साक्षी देना।
4 - चौथा साम्यवादी अथवा नास्तिक विचारधारा के कुछ समर्थकों द्वारा सुनी-सुनाई बातों को बिना जाँचें बार बार दोहराना।

समाधान :- वेदों में मांस भक्षण का स्पष्ट निषेध किया गया हैं। अनेक वेद मन्त्रों में स्पष्ट रूप से किसी भी प्राणि को मारकर खाने का स्पष्ट निषेध किया गया हैं। जैसे हे मनुष्यों ! जो गौ आदि पशु हैं वे कभी भी हिंसा करने योग्य नहीं हैं - यजुर्वेद १।१
जो लोग परमात्मा के सहचरी प्राणी मात्र को अपनी आत्मा का तुल्य जानते हैं अर्थात जैसे अपना हित चाहते हैं वैसे ही अन्यों में भी व्रतते हैं-यजुर्वेद ४०। ७
हे दांतों तुम चावल खाओ, जौ खाओ, उड़द खाओ और तिल खाओ। तुम्हारे लिए यही रमणीय भोज्य पदार्थों का भाग हैं। तुम किसी भी नर और मादा की कभी हिंसा मत करो।अथर्ववेद ६।१४०।२
वह लोग जो नर और मादा, भ्रूण और अंड़ों के नाश से उपलब्ध हुए मांस को कच्चा य पका कर खातें हैं, हमें उनका विरोध करना चाहिए- अथर्ववेद ८।६।२३

अगर फल और सब्जी के गूदे को वाल्मीकि रामायण में मांस कहा गया है,, तो श्री राम जंगल में फल नहीं खाते होंगे क्योंकि श्री राम ने मांस खाने की शपथ ली थी और फल के गूदे को मांस कहा जाता है। अगर मांस खाने को इंकार कहा ही गया था तो फल भी तो खाने से वर्जित हुआ न,,, अरे भाई सीधी सी बात है उधर मांस का मतलब प्राणी से निकला हुआ गोस ही है,,,अर्थात जंगल जाने से पहले श्री राम अवश्य ही गोस खाते थे।
