It sure would have been nice to show a little about the engine, (or engines?), and the generator/inverter. My late wife and I rented a 50 or 55 foot houseboat from Wahweap back in 2015. We also had them add a 18' runabout ski boat, which we towed. However, the Houseboat only had a single outboard engine (maybe 200 HP), and the max cruise speed while towing the runabout was about 6 knots!
This 59 footer is even nicer than the one back in 2015, but I want one that has twin-engines so it can cruise at least 10 knots while towing an 18' runabout ski boat. I wish they would have told us that we would need a more powerful houseboat if we were going to add a ski boat rental. I guess they thought that the higher price for a twin-engine could be a deal breaker, but I would have gone with it if they would have suggested it.
Now, I'm 67 and I'm looking into doing it again but I can't find anyone who'd like to go for a 5-day rental on the lake... 😟

something that big with a single engine would be a challenge at the fuel docks. in 83 we rented a 36 ft with twin 70s. we had an engineer on board, but he was more interested in fuel economy. something like 1.2mph if I remember correctly this is pre-GPS. I was the captain. The helm is similar. the lake at full pool was a little different we motored right up to rainbow bridge they had docks. we went back in 87 rented a 52 from hall crossing and towed an 18 ft ski boat.

@@frphxkaboom3008 I'm now 68 and I'm still hopeful to get time for another week on L Powell. I offered one of my brothers an all expense paid trip for a full week on the lake. But he just couldn't imagine himself on a houseboat for a week, (he just didn't understand what it was all about). Anyway, he declined so I'll need to find a friend that enjoys that kind of fishing trip.
