I agree with minor nations being more fun. I always like doing something unhistorical and try and turn something small into an empire (normally monarchist). Only downside is when you see "Nono Germans have justified a war goal against us"

Great idea
Switch to fascism, rush Sweden and Norway and then proclaim Kalmar Union. When Germany invades Poland, conquer Finland and proclaim Nordic Empire. After that you can either naval invade UK and end the war or stay out of it and ignore Germany’s call to arms and that’s pretty much it

The CSA still had a Senate and House of Representatives for itself during the Civil War, so that system remaining when they take power makes sense.
Especially as that system was what they were using to keep their own power in the Antebellum period

If you want something spicy, try to do the supposed hardest achievement "Macau my day" for HOI4, As Portugal, create a collaboration government in Macau and have it own all Chinese states.

I wonder why I haven't seen anyone done this American civil war cheese yet that make things a bit easier
1: In the beginning
- Disband all your airforce (VERY IMPORTANT), all of them, including the CV planes
- Build some transport planes, as many as possible.
- Research paratroopers
As usual, don't take any focus until the election, do everything seen in the video otherwise
2: Once paratrooper is researched, train as many paratrooper divisions as you can, don't need to modify template. Put all your transport planes on the airbase in Philadelphia and once your paratroopers are trained, give them a paradrop order on Boston.
3: Once the you get the weapons stolen events, disband all of your army except the paratroopers
4: When the civil war starts, immediately send your paratroopers to Boston. This will capitulate the rebels immediately. The war is not over of course, but now you get most of your weapons back and the enemy lost most if not all of their stockpile.
5: Just defeat the remaining rebels once they pop out

I only use minor mods but I'd say just buy the dlc that sounds cool to you, I generally just buy the ones that have new focus trees for nations I like

The flag for the Free American Empire looks a lot better than the other fascist flags that I’ve seen. Mind you I’m not a fascist and I don’t condone the ideals of the ideology.

Fr Charles Coughlin was not a fascist, what is with this game? Edit: The part I hate about this mission is that Five-Star General Douglas MacArthur would never I mean *NEVER* revive the Confederacy. He idolised his father who was a famous Civil War Colonel, does not seem to have been a racist (To Asians at least.) and his politics while definitely Republican and anti-communist, he was not afraid to increase the burden of the state as he did in Japan. He was a Democrat and Christian, and very much for land reform which he achieved with a socialist Edit2: "(He did it for capitalist reasons.)", a plan more radical than Mao's I believe, it is partially why he was not chosen to lead the Republican party. Edit3: Although he definitely would not be above an American Empire, he is the American Caesar!

I’m just curious but why did you change yourself to fascist after is there a gameplay mechanic reason? I don’t mean to be a nerd but the CIA was conservative just a constitutional republic there government was setup so if they won the war they’d continue like the war never happened and America was never fascist nothing about their government was centralized still extremely democratic but I know some of these games have boost on certain government styles and I have not played this game so I was wondering it just knocked me out the immersion because it came out of left field
