Nice video. Nikon z6 is missing, but of course, it is similar with the z5. As a beginner I always would by a used one in good shape. Maybe next time you also can compare these prizes. I just switched from Sony a6400 to a z6 and really love it. To be honest, the af on the sony was better, but so far it is good enough for me. And nikon has also sigma and Tamron, you can adapt old nikon glas and there is also a adapter for Sony lenses. The sony cameras are gite good cameras, but the screens and evf are horrible and on My a 6400 I was never sure if the photo is good or if I have to change something in my settings. Canon is to limited with good budget lenses, even the f4 are so expensive. So that's why I'm switched to nikon :)
Nikon is a surprisingly overlooked system, I love it too. But so far the choice of lenses was pretty poor. It has changed a bit recently. And don't forget budget oriented and good quality lenses from Viltrox
@@JacekSopotnicki I miss nothing, but I'm not a pro :) I'm using the 24-70 f4 and I was really surprised how good it it. Yes just f4, but compact and sharp and in the most situations good enough
I also use a Sony a6400, but you are comparing a crop aps-c sensor with a full frame sensor camera. The display of the a7 series is much better. Said so i don't dispute that Nikon is a better choice. In fact, i dont know much about Nikon i have a very old analogic Canon, and in 2017I purchased the Sony a6300 and in 2020 the a6400. So now i want to move to full frame i know everything about Sony, but i am considering other brands.
Nice! The Nikon Z5 is a great full-frame option, especially for the price. I’m curious to see what improvements the Z5 Mark 2 will bring-maybe better autofocus and for sure modern video features. Either way, both should be solid choices.
I have a very entry level camera canon 2000d.....im wondering what you would recommend for a upgraded camera.....for sports photography (softball)......looking for camera and lens around the 2k-3k usd price point
??? I was looking for cameras for photography, because all you hear about these days is video performance... This video is NOT for people who wants to start their photography adventure! but for people who vant to start filming......
Even more budget go for a canon 5d3, canon 17-40, tamron 24-70 2.8g1, canon 70-200 f4L is and a tamron 45mm 1.8 or even better sigma 50 1.4. You have everything you need if you ahoot landscapes, portraits, weddings etc for a very small price
Nothing beats nikon z5 for the price the only camera hate the most is canon r8 it is a scam over price no image stabilization .. I think I stay with sony a7iv or save money get canon r5
I currently have 2 on the list the R8 and S5ii
Both the R8 and S5ii are great choices! My personal preference would be Panasonic S5II
Great video
Thanks a lot Asher, much appreciated!

R8 is amazing. With stabilized lenses, it works very well.
Lack of IS is a big bummer, but that's Canon - great camera but...
@@JacekSopotnickiyou forgot to mention that it has digital IS. And it works really well.
Great vid thanks! Subbed. Cool shirt!
Thanks, I'm always trying to find some cool designs :)
The Nikon Z5 is on my list alongside the future Nikon Z5 Mark 2

Very happy with my canon R50
I'll be working on Aps-c buying guide soon
In other words get a Sony A7R IV and you’ll be fine.
agree. you are right
Not everyone is a Sony fanboi. It won't suit everyone.
I am thinking to buy Sony A7IV, BUT overheating issue makes me think about it. Too many users complain on overheating.
Yes it might be a concern, however if you turn one setting on in the menu, the overheating problem goes away
And what is that@@JacekSopotnicki

At that price point and your use case scenario probably A7III would be the best choice. A lot of cheap lens options and still very reliable AF system

All cameras in the comparison are good for photography. There's a lot of competition in the field of video capabilities

Also Panasonic S5II is a great camera to consider now. There's a lot of sales and it's value is amazing
RP, no good. Might as well get a DSLR, cheaper and better auto focus
