I heard that skynd ask to the relatives of the victims to post the music and apparently Bianca's mother is still too much affected by her death to accept an official release. If it's true this music may never come out
I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, art imitates life and this was a very upsetting thing that happened. But on the other hand, I've done a lot of research into this case and I feel like this is in poor taste. To make a song inspired by her case is one thing, but to directly use her name and describe the photo of her corpse that is still used to terrorize her family is another. Bianca deserved better, and she still deserves better. To turn this girl's murder into some sort of anthem just feels wrong to me.
As a Skynd fan i tend to agree with you. This is the only song other than Elisa Lam named after the victim, but I still enjoy the beat of the song and her voice.
Wanted to add this was an awful case and the fact her photo after the attack circulated is hard to explain. Hope her family and friends are doing better these days.
Completely agree and it’s a known fact that her family doesn’t want things like this made about her like it’s a very well know so even the bare minimum of research would have let them know this and they shouldn’t have made the song at all. Especially since they are using lyrics that describe her body after being murdered
